What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

That is good news! 😁👍
I hope she does not have problems with that knee in the decades to come. Trust me ... knee and hip "ow" is much, much less than zero "fun".

I can also tell you it no "fun" at all, at all, when you walking (hobbling?) along, and a knee (or hip) decides it is going to stop supporting weight, and/or bend in ways it was never desiged or built to bend. ☹️
(a rollator with seat (or a nearby unoccupied chair) comes in mighty handy when that happens.)
Thank you !
We hope and pray she will be fine for the rest of her life.
We are encouraged by the fact that medical science and technology has advanced so very much and that she was treated by one of the very best in the field.
Best wishes !

So glad all is going well for your daughter's recovery.
Thank you !
That's good news Dan, glad your little girl is going to be alright :)
Gracias Jack !
The surgeons assurances indicated that she will . It will be important that she does not re injured it while the healing (graft) is taking place for the next few months.
It is incredible how much medical science and surgical techniques have advanced.

Best wishes for that knee!
In light of @afishhunter’s post below, and the condition of my knees, I wish I’d never played high school football.
Thank you Jeff ! We trust that she will recover well. Now we are trying to cheer her up and support her as the whole ordeal has been a bit rough on her. She will be staying home this semester and taking her university courses online in order to recover and attend the weekly physio sessions.
Wish you the best as you deal with your old injuries.

On the menu today: turkey sausages and red cabbage :)
Total net carbs for the whole day about 25 gr

Sweet setup Jeremy.👍🏻
Thanks Bob. Hope today was manageable for you. BTW, you should see how much the 64 audio U6’s compliment the group. Finest set of in-ears I have ever had the privilege of using, and from a stand up guy, to boot.
Sweet pairs all ! 😎👍
Thanks Steve. Your Rosewood and Osage pair aren’t half bad, either 😎.

A fine combo, that I don't think will disappear into the abyss of the back bedroom Jack.👌
Thanks Bob, hopefully not! :D
My cutlery for today. I hope Fall / Spring is treating everyone well.View attachment 2351704
Two lookers there buddy :)
Verah nice pair of knives buddy!
Thanks pal :)
Dont let people borrow your knife.

Water meter guy hit the heat trace after being warned 10 times it was under the insulation. I suppose the knife now has a built in wire stripper.

It's my fault .. I know better than to hand someone my knife. Especially at work.

Same as yesterday, minus a little steel.

I dont know why but I do like the George Wostenholm knives.

I bought quite a few including 2 of this model. 😁

It’s going to be a beautiful day here in the City by the Bay! CAB for now we’ll see if the fog rolls in later. Heading out to the pharmacy to pick up some iron supplements. Blood work says I’m a little anemic so my doc told me to take them for 90 days and then come in for another blood test. Keeping me company will be the ebony lamb and SAK Electrician. 😀

Couldn't agree more, tried taking a picture with my tablet by the fire with my first gec an 85 caplifter, used it to make my fire starter and open my mgd.just the reason I said I wanted it for.but it wouldn't download I was to far from modem.time to trade in flip phone.or learn to take pic then transfer into message.

had similar experience.
when i was on a group hiking, a friend said he wanted to see my Grohmann #1 stag horn handle knife, I had no idea about how little knowledge he had about a knife and sheath, or maybe just because of carelessness, the knife slipped out of the sheath dropped onto the ground hit the rock.
Luckily, only this "small" damage.
