On the contrary - I think it's helping.I suspect us northerners moving down there has not raised the average IQ.
Gorgeous covers on those, Steve!![]()
Great old bones!
Peachy peachseed!
I have Camillus that looks like yours - great little knife. They are sweet little knives, and it shouldn't be hard to find one there. Mine is marked Camillus, but I'm pretty sure they made the Klein ones with brown fake wood covers, too.
Thanks!Thanks buddy!
Awesome pair of knives!
Ruggedly handsome pair of knives!
The strings on that bass are pretty thin, or is it just the lighting?
The need for a bass player (and subsequently a drummer) is what got me to pick up those two instruments and learn to play them.Squash, not fowl
I wonder if Camillus made the Kleins??
No idea.
The Klein is quite a bit smaller, though. I rehandled this one in elk…View attachment 2353192
Peachy peachseed!
Me too! Churches provide a great outlet for us bandless musicians, for sure. I’ve been a church player for a long time.
My most recent non-church band fell apart when the pandemic came around.
Aww, thanks, buddy!
What brand and model?
You can be in the Porch Band, too!
Never mind~ I zoomed in. Nice little Martin!
Don’t you know what saltwater does to carbon steel?

Nice RachelI was reading about big rope knives yesterday ( I don't remember if it was in this thread or somewhere else) and decided to pull this little Camillus Rope Knife out of the box. I'm a day early for "old friends Friday" but it's going in my pocket anyway.

Great handful JetThe Capuchin is a tough guy knife. It will be fine in its purse.

Sadly, 1982 was the year Rodgers-Wostenholm, as they were then called, went under Jeff, along with RichardsReal nice knives, Jack!
Looks good EdThe two-blade Lambfoot knife came up in the "Guardians" thread so thought I'd carry my ebony one today. Going to town for lunch at the Wagon Wheel Cafe. Our weekly newspaper comes out today so, I expect there'll be some discussion of the Obituaries - things like; Oh, yeah, I knew that guy, a real pain in the butt or Oh yeah, I knew that woman, she carried on an affair with her husband's brother for years. Gotta love the Wagon Wheel on Obituary Day.
