What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

A damp and dreary day here in the City by the Bay! Looks like it might clear up later🤞. Doing laundry and watching some football and baseball. My son’s coming by later to hook up network extenders. Having a son who’s an electrician has its benefits. Keeping me company will be the fancy lamb barlow and always handsome Modoc Special. Have a peaceful Sunday folks! 😀

This one is Ebony. I guess the sunlight did bring out some color in that picture. Most of the time this one is jet black.

Good evening Porchsters,

Late to the tea party today, mostly annoyed with this knife. I love the blade very good steel and super strong W&T, but its one those I have to try and like. I should have sent it back I think, I am right handed and the stag (stag Sunday, :) i am starting to get the lingo) has the duff scale on the wrong side, whats all that about? another thing is the Nickel silver bolster(with nickel silver pivot) and then they go and chuck brass pins on the slabs. They must have saved a whole 50p there. those little things bring the whole knife down in my view. (climbs carefully down off the soapbox, its a bit high and I have to watch my step)

I took the twin sisters out today, as you can they are not identical twins. 😁

It was just brilliant at this time of year to have a bit of sun and a warmish wind to ride my motorbike.

I am a wimp nowadays and only like to ride in fair weather.


Finally my hand feels a lot better and now its the end of the season.

If I was rich I would move to NZ for 6 months to enjoy the summer down south which is of course during our winter. 😇



Barlows are getting to me more and more,ll of a sudden I have a hankering for a Russell Barlow,I have only seen them in photos.































Who is this old git? 😅
