I can imagine you'd be sad to see that one go, LT!
Very impressive; congrats!Well as a few of you Will know I have been trying to complete the full set of Blade forums knives . It all started with the first one I got from Brian Smith , the stag Barlow by Queen cutlery , that sparked an interest , and for the last five years I have been hunting down the rest of them . Thanks to the help of some good people and my bank balance being battered lol
I have finally taken delivery today of the last 3 knives that complete the set . I think there is a couple of specials that were not actually the annual knife , that I don’t have . But was lucky enough to find an Eric’s knife. So here is the full set in all its glory
God knows what I’m going to do now I have them allView attachment 2365585

I'm of a generation that should be open to Castaneda's revelation of a Yaqui way of knowledge, but never read any of it. I was probably too busy at the time trying to understand the way of knowledge of my own culture.Unless I'm stalking like Juan Matus.
"But Don Juan! You told me I was being too obvious!"
"Now it's obvious to everyone that you're hiding."

Bloodwork,
I really like the small print on the bolster of your Barlow almost as much as I like the small script on some Cattaraugus Barlows!KA-BAR-LO (Union Cut. Co.) and my Bill Akers Custom Backwoods for Tuesday.

Thanks for the info about the covers of your flaming knife, Bob.The covers did come out rather well. They are wood products of Glennbad.
I don't care what the score is, as long as I win.![]()
About the end of April, I put washing the windows of at least the main floor of our house on my spring/summer to-do list. October is almost finished and the windows are not.Mrs Fleschwund is off work today, and has declared it to be WINDOW WASHING DAY.
Oh boy, what fun.
Congrats on the return of those missing knives! The handle of the 110 looks really good.Good evening porchsters,
Oh Yay, Oh Yay, Oh Yay
I bring glad tidings, yesterday, unbelievably, two knives which had been missing in action for years turned up within hours of each other. The lovely senator, one of my favourite patterns. I had one lost itand missed it so much I bought another and then lost that.
it turned up jammed in the sliding track of the car seat, I only found it because the seat would not slide back whilst looking for my wallet.

Second but by no means any less important, my lovely Buck 110, I have not seen this for over 15 years, I opened the box took it out of the case had a quick look put it all back together in the box and never saw it again. Looking for a toner cartridge for the printer in the loft it was jammed in an old bookcase. the patina on the brass is like nothing I have ever seen before, it looks like copper.

Thanks for the info on your blade preferences, Greg. Thanks, Gary. For a whittler I like a clip main, coping and pen secondaries I suppose. My ideal cattle knife would also have a clip main, sheeps foot and punch secondaries.
Very attractive handle on that knife, José!
Lately, yes. The last two times they've been lured away from my inner elbow by the flashy surface veins toward the outside, which apparently squish out of the way when stabbed at.Does the blacksmith on your Imperial remind you of your phlebotomists?

Thanks my friend. Good to see ya back around here. What a great picture.![]()
Thanks Paul.Very cool picture, Greg.
