  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Home from work, so I can put a full sized knife in my pocket. A '97 Buck 301 tonight.

I took several to show my buddy but the main attraction was:

With a side show of:

And when someone needed a knife I wasn't there, but had sharpened buddies and heard the comment when it was returned "sure is sharp".

For the past couple of weeks, I've been carrying a Boker Barlow pattern in carbon steel. Takes and holds a good edge, and feels substantial in the hand. It was a second, (crinked spring on the main blade) but for $7.00, it's a good user.

Queen Sodbuster in D2 for me. I'm still getting used to the backspring, it's way stronger than the SAKs and Case knives I've experienced.

Travelin' light today so I dropped this tiny Buck #506 "White Knight" into my change pocket. This little thing was rattling around forgotten in the bottom of one of my knife drawers for around twenty years and just came to light again. Still has its original factory edge and not a hint of blade play. I think I paid $5 for it when a shopping mall knife store threw a going-out-of-business sale.
