❤️ that Hunter cased compass. 😍
Modern reproduction? Vintage/Antique original?
Do you ever pair it with your vintage/antique 16S or 18S (which size do you have?😊) pocket watch when on a hike/seeking finches, crow, magpies, toad/frog and other pest critters with a catapult?😇
(or is going after pest critters illegal, too? I'm guessing going after upland game like squirrel, bunny and hare is highly restricted (royalty only like in 16th/17th century and earlier?) and regulated.)

Shooting pool this afternoon and then going to a gun show this evening. This will be the first gun show I've been to since the pandemic. Neither Ralph nor I need or want anything. Mostly going to see and be seen :p I'm mostly looking for pocket knives deal.gif
The magnifying glass comes in handy for looking at tang stamps and the tiny model numbers S&W stamps on the crane of their revolvers 🧐

Thank you my friend, I have a small collection of them :) This one was made by F. Barker & Sons, prior to 1875. I'm afraid the only pocket watches I have are cheap Smiths of London models, which belonged to my grandfather (he left me a MUCH better Smith's wristwatch). I'm in the market, but don't know much about them. I do sometimes wear my pocket compasses on a chain when I'm out walking though :) Certain birds and small mammals may be legally shot with a catapult, but only if you have the written permission of the landowner
Thanks Jack! Looks like you’ll need the HHB to cut that fog, good thing you have that cool compass. 😎👍
LOL :D Thank you Pat :D :)
Good morning, hope everyone is ready for the weekend! 😎
