I’m back home now but here are a few shots from the last couple days in Hawaii. I only had my Alox SAK with me on the trip. I thought of Todd bigfish64 when I took the hotel railing shot.

We did a lot of beach time and some whale watching. My son really liked the dog on the boat.

It's a masterclass on Humility, It took me quite a while to figure out chapter 12 with its archaic description of what to expect in old age. quite beautiful prose really, I love the allegory. Up their with Shakespeare in my view.

Here's a "glitch" in my weekly rotation schedule. This week the SAME knife shows up as BOTH the Stag/Horn Knife of the Week AND the Lambsfoot of the Week. It's the Ashley's Choice lambsfoot I've named Cracker Jack:

I saw that story a while back, but heard from a couple of English guys who live on the island, and work in tourism, that it was rubbish Saying that I NEARLY got in the Lanzarote press might be stretching it just a little!
