Been on the 18 train lately. And of course, the compact and the knipex are always there, just in case.

I hope everyone sees the beauty of what mother earth paints for us.Today using a RR 3" fixed blade. OK knife, does it job, but definitely does not 'punch above its weight class.' Seen here in the woods of Connecticut.

May I ask if that is a hybrid ( wood..resin )handle?Today using a RR 3" fixed blade. OK knife, does it job, but definitely does not 'punch above its weight class.' Seen here in the woods of Connecticut.

Exactly Bob... yes its marketed as a 'wood and blue resin amalgam' whatever that is! Generic stainless steel, guess is 440A. RR calls it the Shoreline Blue Hunter. Pretty good blade, holds up well, looks nice, a few gaps around the guard. But you get what you pay for at $20!May I ask if that is a hybrid ( wood..resin )handle?
Did you take the Lumix to Italy Gary?I rarely use these anymore. The cameras I mean!
