Good morning all.
Yup, a Jeremy sheath.View attachment 2449645
😍 Love the covers on that toucan, Bob! What are they exactly? Original? 🤔
A couple clad in micarta. The Oregon Trapper is muslin micarta, I don’t know what fabric the other is made of. I bought a small slab of it from a knifemaking supply place.View attachment 2449702View attachment 2449704Tree rats using my woodpile to plot and stage their next assault on my squirrel-proof sunflower seed feeders.View attachment 2449703Our Brittany Spaniel was pretty slick about defending against tree rats. Being mostly while, he would crouch motionless in the snow like a cat under where one was treed, then nab them when they thought the coast was clear and came down.
Manny just charges hell-bent out the door. They see him coming, and make it to the safety of the woods. Just barely. Then he barks at them, pees on the tree they escaped into, and looks proud of himself.😏
That's a gorgeous pair!! Wait a minute... a big blade and whittle blade combo?? What IS that thing??? 😲
Those two look good together!!👌🏻

Down by Wallingford bridge this afternoon, everyone was out gawping at the flood myself included.

Stainless steel in my pocket,we dont need no rust. 🤭

Lots of familys about so hard to take a pic without worrying someone.:)

It was noticeably colder over the water.

Still lots of wallys wearing shorts and tee shirts to show how tough they are (I had 2 down jackets on to protect my heart problems).o_O

Can you see the roof of the black car in the water? I bet the council still give him a parking fine.

He is going to need a lot of WD40 to get his car started once the water recedes,.

Imagine his call to the AA...whats the cause of the breakdown sir?……….just a bit of water on the engine....🤣🤣🤣

In case its not obvious theres a river or 2 somewhere amongst this lot.

You have no idea how much I love SRV,this is the blues with feeling.
No im not in Texas,it’s the flood we have in common.

You wont believe it,

I saw another news report with a car flooded up to the windows, you could clearly see the yellow parking fine on the windscreen flapping in the wind.

Talk about rubbing it in...

Good pair to start the week with.
Thank you David :)
Two capable knives with a farming heritage, that now make fine daily carries.👌 Very nice Jack.
Many thanks Todd
New to me work carry. First knife of the new year too!

Congratulations Kevin, looks good :)
Two fantastic knives, Jack! Slip isn’t half bad, either.
Thanks pal :D ;)
Nice pair Jack , wooden Monday ? 🙂👍
Thanks Steve, I never know what day it is :D ;)

This is an Asian made one that I picked up from the knife works in the Smokeys. It is put together fairly well and has good steel in it. Got it for less than $10. Just a fun knife to add to the rotation. I’d like to have a Victorianox but don’t want to spend that kind of $. From what I’ve seen, when you do find one, it is fairly expensive and condition is questionable.
That's interesting, I think I might have actually seen them somewhere over here, now I think about it  Even has the saw-guard  Looks like a cool knife :) I have a Victorinox Mauser Officers Knife. Carried it for the best part of 10 years, from about 1982. I was shocked when I saw how much they were going for a few years back!
A Large lamb and a Trapper

Those two go together nicely Steve :)
Thanks, the 68s and 66s are favorites. This one sees a lot of pocket time.
I love the Bucs but I’m not overly optimistic for their chances. I know the Eagles aren’t playing well, but neither are the Bucs.
Carrying these two today. 😎👍🏴‍☠️

They were moving in last night so we will see about tomorrow. The house was almost 2m‼️
Don't they have servants to move in for them?! :D ;)
