What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Not seated on the first jury, so I was dismissed for the day. Came home and grabbed this guy.

Love everything about this new #85 EZ/LL - that long matchstrike pull, the smooth walk and solid lockup, the way that the spear point and the frame mirror each other so nicely...

Thanks, Mike and GEC!

Thanks for the kind words, Pete & Jack. This is one I find myself pulling out just to look at, even if I don't have a cutting task at hand. I have deep admiration for Glenn's skill as an artisan in restoring this old jack knife.

What a gorgeous picture Duane.

I love the chair background, and the glint of the edge -- perfect!

Cattaraugus Cutlery Co, my friend. Hope your having a great day.

Thanks for the info my friend, the covers and short bolsters reminded me of something I picked up a while back. Hot and sticky here, and not a day to be working. Hope you're OK :)

Glenn did a great job

Thanks Doug, she's scary sharp and ready to go now, I dare say I may be done getting any new knives for a while...

My good camera needs batteries so I had to deal with a cell phone today but I couldn't pass up the colours.

These are truly great little knives. I have the same in African Black Wood, and it is currently my most carried knife.

After a Native American funeral we went to a mountain top, No one had scissors to open the plastic bag to scatter my ex-wife's ashes so I loaned the Lakota chief this knife to do the job.

Thanks for the comments on the Camillus. I carried a different one today but my local audience was not impressed.
