What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Second is this Chicago Cutlery serpentine(?) of some sort that was my late Grandfathers. Its been well used as you can see from the main blade, not sure of the wood for the scales, maybe walnut . I haven't seen too many Chicago cutlery slippies in my searches so I don't know much about it.
Schrade made knives for Chicago Cutlery, but the swedge on the clip blade of your knife looks very typical of Camillus. You might look on the Camillus collector site to see if you see a pattern like this in their old catalogs.

After carrying the rather big 125OT in my back pocket for a while, I felt the need to downsize again.

sorry for the bad picture.

Here's my Case Small Coke Bottle with burnt Stag scales and 560 layer Parker Damascus Clip blade.

I always liked the way this puppy held an edge, a little bigger than a Peanut pattern but with a single larger blade it feels bigger.

One of these in bone...just an outstanding knife in every way (and takes a wicked edge):

This one. Blade snap is- shall we say- authoritative. :D Better go in the next room if sleeping babies are nearby.

Be careful opening all four blades on these, lads!

I now know that this big beauty has all three 1095 blades as I have been using it hard this week! For some reason it took longer for the master blade to start a patina.

For the last few days I've been carrying my new Queen Canoe in honey amber bone. At first. I was a little underwhelmed, since it had a few nitpicky flaws, but I thought about it and decided it was just me. It has smoothed up considerably with use, and the D2 blades take a wicked edge. I haven't cut anything substantial with it yet, but I'll report on it when I do.

Both the knife and the zippo look equally battered, but they work well.
Some might say they are ugly, but I think they look purty.

actually have my medium yeller cv and my jumbo amber cv, doesnt really make sense does it:D But the medium is like a constant companion and the amberbone just needs the pocket time to get that cool pocket worn look to the scales, so there... it's obviously a sympathy carry;)
ha! 6 blades of stockman versatility:thumbup:

Hi Peter,

Wonderful photo of some classic gear! I like the stop motion effect on the seconds hand of the watch.

Thanks everybody for the comments.

I don't like to use the flash on my macro pics, and since it was 1725h, I had no choice but to use my tripod. 4sec f/3.1

The pen is a cheap Globe d'Or, never header of them, but it writes well and was cheap to boot.
The Zippo is from '64, and the knife is WWII issue.

Peter
