Locking Knife of the Week is a big Joker stag lockback:

International Knife of the Week is a wood-handled Laguiole casa that my daughter gave me. It's a French pattern that she bought in Toledo, Spain, but I'm quite certain that it was made in Asia. Pretty nice knife.

Who's the maker of that beauty? The fancy bolster and the bone color/jigging are all memorable!:cool:

Adolphus Cutlery.

The gentleman Rookie82 Rookie82 was able to learn me the following:

“Adolphus Cutlery Co. was a mark owned by A. J. Jordan who imported knives from England and Germany, and sold them in St. Louis. My reference books say 1882-1890s.

The Alexander Jackson Jordan (A.J.) company owned many different brand names, including AAA1, Old Faithful, 20th Century, and Adolphus Cutlery. A large amount of his business was in selling knives to Native American tribes, especially Blackfeet and Crow. They operated from 1871-1929.”

I picked up an old schrade slimline trapper. It’s a little rough, but fine for a user. Neat pattern. Paired with another old well used schrade in the form of barlow.

I put fresh edges on both of them last night with a little dan’s arkansas tri stone. I got a couple of these as new old stock and have been playing around with one of them.
