Thank you DavidGood pair!
I've been on a Brough a couple of times, as my dad had a friend who owned one most of his life. He was still riding it, with a box on the side he kept tools, crossbows, guns in, depending what he was up to. His missus, the same age, went on the back. Unfortunately, in the end, he couldn't park it up without people stealing bits off it as souvenirs. He could get them replaced quite easily apparently, but it was a pain in the backside. He was ground crew in both the RFC and RAF as a young man. Great guyI want to ride a Vincent and Brough one day, time is running out.![]()
Am I being slow, or is that a new K'roo Paul?
Nice pic
Sounds great TomThanks Jack! Enjoyable game, the Knights were victorious. We are trying for a better position in the rankings before the playoffs begin next week. Which is an incredibly weird thing to write when referring to a bunch of 12 year-old hockey players, but whatever the games are fun
Love the Albers you posted today, Yowza![]()
Thanks GT! I really like the ram’s horn example you posted.
These two today.

The steam calls for a short, light weight fly rod and some dry flies.
It is bad when the morals of society have sunk so low that one has to be armed at church and churches have to have security teams. Anyway, I hope it was a good sermon.Had these with me at preaching this morning.

In Michigan that might be an "other dangerous weapon". (Not competent legal advice)You'd be amazed at how effective casually walking around with a brick in-hand is at deterring most threats, especially here in the city. I haven't fired one yet, but I've been told they kick like a mule. No permit required.![]()
Great pairing! That farmers jack is simply amazingA Schrade Cut. Co. Barlow and Schrade Walden Farmers Jack for Monday.

Simple and effective, very nice.Smoking Bacon at the capital. The Kissing Crane in my pocket will suffice. View attachment 2483910It’s sunny and warmER in The Bluegrass State today. Stay sharp!
Gray area. You just gotta be quick: "Has anyone seen my trowel?"In Michigan that might be an "other dangerous weapon". (Not competent legal advice)
For years I've been carrying a pick handle on the back seat of my pickup. One Friday night coming home from work I had to stop at a drunk check point. The cop shined his Maglight in my back seat & asked what that pick handle was doing in my back seat. I replied, "One never knows when one may run across a pick laying along the road in need of a handle." He smiled & said, "Riiiiight!" and sent me on my way.Gray area. I don’t keep chiknz because of my dog, but a lot of people on my gardening forums do…Finally got work to provide me a new phone, testing out the camera this morning. Big improvement.
The girls eagerly getting out for their morning stroll. The Plymouth isn’t in good health. I’ve lost two others in as many months. No idea what’s happening.

For your sake I hope there are plenty of sleeveboards at this year’s Blade Show.Thank ya, Gary.
You're welcome, Gary. I've purchased 4 Maserin knives, 2 sodbusters as gifts to my brothers and 2 hunters for myself. All well built IMO.
I've been absent for a few days. Carried two old bone handled knives the past three days, Remington swell end and a Robeson sleeveboard.

Did some mattress shopping with the wife this morning and then went to watch our 4 yr old granddaughter do gymnastics. After that we took the pooch to the dog park for a good run through the muck, (him not us).
Hope all here are having a pleasant Sunday.
Now I need to scroll though the pages of the Porch and see what I've missed this past couple days.
Fine knives and photos, Fred.![]()

That particular video is really early when they were young enough to get away with mullets.I've watched that Marshall Tucker live video countless times in the past, When my daughters ask what music was like when I was a teen in the 70's I show them that video and The Bands 'Last Waltz'. Then I tell them we really did dress and look like that as well.![]()
Yeah. And luckily for me, hope overrides actually catching somethingSame here! It didn't take too long for me to figure out it wasn't the fish I was after.

I managed to scoop up Mr Punkin without him oozing off my fork, and dump him in a better spot. We never carved it, so it’s full of seeds. I think the pumpkin farmer uses open pollinated varieties, so they should sprout. It is bad when the morals of society have sunk so low that one has to be armed at church and churches have to have security teams. I always enjoy your posts in this thread. But I have to say this one is above even your average. It’s a stormy day here in the City by the Bay! Staying home where it is warm and dry. Keeping me company the Modoc Special and a fancy lamb. Have a great Sunday folks!Just added a bonus pic!View attachment 2482875View attachment 2482876View attachment 2482983
