Speys out!!!!! I like your style, Ken.
Craggy Staggy today. Just one knife again today. Don’t worry, I’ll be back to the more logical process of carrying two similarly sized pocket knives tomorrow.

Sweet !!!!!
A fine photo of some 15s, Peter.

My dad has told me a good many stories of his growing up with my grandpa on their farm back in Wisconsin when he was young. He said they used everything "From the snoot to the poot"...

Here's a related pic of my mom's side of the family from way back in the late 1800's - early 1900's. I believe that's my great-great grandmother by the porch.

Edit to add: The house was built in 1888 & the pic was taken in 1919.
Great photo. One of my cousins spent a day with grandma a couple of before nursing home time and they scanned in 400+ photos from when my grandma was young until after granddaddy passed in 1993. She was good about writing date and people on the back of each real photo. These let me know where my love of hats came from.
Lots of history in old photos.
Might have to spend some time tomorrow looking through those again.

I carried my stag 25 yesterday. Carried my 14 beer cub today but didn’t take a picture.

Polite = rich?
One does what one has to do to feed a family and his(her)self.
My grandparents were born in 1903 and 1906 and the only parts of the farm raised pigs and cows not used were the squeal and moo.
Yeah! :D His dad was an Irish miner who died in WW1. Urban poor though, so more cat, rat, and bat! :eek: (Well, I'm not sure about the bat! :D) Good job he was a decent fisherman. He never lost a fondness for tripe, 'chittlin' and bag', etc, though. After a couple of years trying to find work, he got a job as a wire-weaver, and stayed with the same firm until he retired :thumbsup:
