Fantastic pair! Love the color on your 87 too.I originally thought that the Remington Grand Daddy was on the GEC 87 frame but that is not true . The Remington is longer and overall just a bigger knife . Maybe not as much as the photo portrays but bigger . Pin Locations are different and blade is bigger . But both of them have become some of my favorite patterns to have . I have both of them in my pockets today .

Wow! That is an incredible spot to get all those fat rainbows in an afternoon! They look delicious. Beautiful fish and knife.Camillus #89 This afternoon Mrs.Crappie and I went up on the mountain and caught these nice rainbows. I filleted them and gave them to the neighbors; they really enjoy them. I’m off work tomorrow; I’ll be hitting the water in the morning for some crappie fishing.

Great blade profile Bob
I believe it may be on the #97 size frame without the "coke bottle". Here's my Northfield model 97, I believe the Tidioute versions had the same blade as your Remington. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.I originally thought that the Remington Grand Daddy was on the GEC 87 frame but that is not true . The Remington is longer and overall just a bigger knife . I believe the Remington is on the 95 frame. Which then begs the question, what is Bill planning to do with it and when?I originally thought that the Remington Grand Daddy was on the GEC 87 frame but that is not true . See... More knowledge than I !!!I believe the Remington is on the 95 frame. Which then begs the question, what is Bill planning to do with it and when?
Since I can find nothing about a 95 Frame , I assume that it is one to be used again in the future . Thank you for the information my friend .I believe the Remington is on the 95 frame. Which then begs the question, what is Bill planning to do with it and when?
