In my pocket today is a WWII Engineer’s Knife issued to members of the Medical Department of the U. S. Navy. This one was made by Camillus and has a four-line tang stamp.

We do Jeff . Great Cheese and Cheese Curds at Decatur Dairy and it gives us something to do .

Harry, beautiful knives. Now that the knife talk is out-of-the-way, I hope you get some really fresh cheese curds!!!

We did Jim . As soon as we walked through the door I picked up a curd fresh enough to Squeak . We ended up with some Mixed Curd ( Munster and Cheddar ) , Swiss , and Cheddar and also had some great Grilled Cheese sandwiches while there .

I have many Favorite knives and these 2 are right close to the top . The 77 is in a slip to protect it from keys .Getting anymore like them is probably not likely in my lifetime .They are in my pockets as we get ready to go to Broadhead , Wi. to our favorite cheese and Cheese Curds .

Good Tuesday to you. It never did rain yesterday but it looked like it would all day. Today I’m doing a Costco run. But first I’m enjoying a cup of coffee. The turkeys haven’t shown up yet. The squirrels have been away at a squirrel meeting or something. I tried years ago to keep them out of the bird feeder. They beat my efforts to discourage them at every turn. Outsmarted by squirrels oh well. My garden is still kicking out a few flowers but the end is near. Here’s my ettrick.

If you have a Culvers around you , they probably have Cheese Curds . Fresh Curds that are near Room Temp will squeak when you chew them . If we ever go to Tenn. again , we will have to meet up somewhere and have some to eat . We do go down that I that runs between Cincy & Knoxville .
