What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Scratched-up Sunday...nobody actually thought I was going to be able to leave those bolsters alone, did they?😂 Came up with a big, bold "XX Weave" idea and had to run with it
That engraving turned out great 👍

Sunday carry was the little elk 309 again and the cadet. The cadet doesn’t get photos much but it is almost always in my pocket no matter what else I carry. It’s just such a light slim package.
I like that little Buck 👍
I also carry a SAK frequently of some kind. I should post mine up more often. The Mrs was poking fun about mine in addition to the other daily carries, until I got her the small classic model since she was always asking to borrow mine. Now she uses it on a regular basis. She's realizing how handy they are. Come to think of it I probably should resharpen hers again 😂

Toting this little fella today.
Nice little Camillus, it looks very pointy & about the size of a yellow jacket. Hopefully it has a better temperament 😂

I've missed a couple days 😬, but these here are what I've been sporting:

#47 Viper -Black Plum Jigged Bone & Tactile Dreadeye - Black Paper Micarta

#21 Bull Buster - Natural Linen Micarta

#47 Viper - Black Plum Jigged Bone

#12 Toothpick - Copperhead Pony Cut Bone

Camillus-made for A.G. Russell CM-2 (1973) Granddaddy Barlow - Jigged Delrin

P.S. - Why yes, that is a knife whose shield is a representation of itself, which in turn has a shield of the same. I think that's what people mean when they say "down the rabbit hole..." 🐰🕳️
Great pics! That last one has that on-going Droste effect... Rabbit hole indeed ... Trippy...😂

Nice Buck 301, Mike! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:
I was trying to figure out from the tape case if it was a 301 or 303, then happened to notice that if my cursor was over the photo, I could see your filename for the pic, which included the info "rosewood 301." I have a 303 that belonged to my late father-in-law, and I carry it almost daily now, but it's dymondwood, I think.
What's the galvanized steel behind tape and stockman?

Thanks GT :) Here it is with its little brother, the 303. IIRC, the "rosewood" is Dymalux, which is Buck's successor to Dymondwood. Regardless, it is a laminate. Good stuff for knife handles. I like it because its pretty :D

Thanks for the info, Mike; that's a handsome matched pair of Buck stockmans you have!:cool::thumbsup:
But wait a minute! You're not planning to leave them on your shed roof all winter to see if you can replicate Modoc ED Modoc ED 's legendary, nearly-Nobel-worthy experiment, are you?? :eek:o_O;)

Canoes of the Week for me are a Case and a Klaas.
Case '65-'69 redbone canoe (thanks, Tim):

Klaas autumn brown "golfball jigged" mini canoe (I made up that name for the jigging):

Typically fall weather pattern in Upstate NY. Played golf in shorts yesterday … woke up to 45 degrees and rain this morning!! Hopefully, that brings some steelhead into the creeks. Today, I did absolutely nothing other than napping and watching football. Carried this 501 in case I needed to open a bag of chips!!🤣
