What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thanks for the info, Mike; that's a handsome matched pair of Buck stockmans you have!:cool::thumbsup:
But wait a minute! You're not planning to leave them on your shed roof all winter to see if you can replicate Modoc ED Modoc ED 's legendary, nearly-Nobel-worthy experiment, are you?? :eek:o_O;)

Canoes of the Week for me are a Case and a Klaas.
Case '65-'69 redbone canoe (thanks, Tim):

Ha! I thought of Ed Modoc ED Modoc ED when I wrote the words, "shed roof" 🤣

Both the RR sowbelly and the RR Leon Redbone canoe 😁 are grand, Greg!:cool::thumbsup:
Do you remember that one-hit wonder band Redbone that "made the charts" with "Come and Get Your Love"?
- GT
Thanks, Gary. I remember the song for sure but didn't know the band. It got a lot of airplay back in the day when the only listening options were FM radio and mostly top 40 songs, maybe 100, played in a loop. Good song though and now stuck in my head. ;)😄

Sticking with these.

In pouch: (Left to right, and in front of the Bunny knife)
Bunny Knife N°291; Robeson 622110; 2019 Guardian's Lam Foot; Toferner nonfilding Celtic/Norse/"Viking" pocket knife.
In pocket: Western 742 Stockman.
On a SAK belt hanger: SAK Year Of The Ox Huntsman.
In belt sheath: Western 062 two blade Folding Hunter.
The orange thig is my sheathed signaling mirror, also carried in the pouch.
None of the blades* are shiny enough for use as a signaling mirror. 😁👍
(*well ... maybe the Huntsman's are, but an actual mirror will probably work better for that if ever needed.

Mrs. Hoovie & I returned home from the upper part of the country late yesterday. We spent the week up in Vermont. It's a beautiful part of the country & we're glad we made the trip.
We spent a good bit of time at the local farms (apple orchards, creameries & maple farms). This one maple farm just started to do horse tours on their property. It was definitely a fun time. The carriage ride was partially "off road" we were going up old mountain trails where they harvested from their trees. Some of the trail a 4x4 vehicle would have an interesting time with. But those Belgian horses pulled the cart like it was no big deal.

I've been carrying a Case Sodbuster Jr for most of the week. I posted it previously.
We did stop by an antique store where I found this old Camillus Grandaddy Barlow.

I carried the Camillus the rest of the trip & before we left I stopped by the post office to mail it back home. I didn't want to take the chance of losing it to the TSA.

Well now that we're back home the real fun begins... The unpacking 😱

Have a great weekend y'all!

Edit for grammar, auto correct error... 🙄
Reads and looks like a great trip.
My worries are with the baggage handlers, not so much TSA. I have a Buck 110LT that goes in the bag. If stolen, a quick trip to an outdoor store and I am back in business.
Nice score on the Barlow.
