What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Had kind of a rough morning, but got it sorted and shot pool for a couple of hours with the guys. We're losing one of the pool players. My friend Gordon and his wife are moving to Idaho to be closer to their daughter and son-in-law. Sorry to see them go, but happy for them. A little hurt that they prefer the company of their daughter over us, but no accounting for taste 🤷‍♂️

84F and very, very windy. A line of severe thunderstorms is due in about 3 hours. Only supposed to be in the fifties tomorrow. In Missouri you can run the heat and the AC in one day. Sometimes in a matter of hours 🥵🥶😳

Wore shorts for the second time this year and pulled out my Case pen knife. Perfectly slim and lightweight for shorts carry

Great piece 😍

Who’s the maker?
Thank you Jack! Thomas Turner & Co, Sheffield c.1805-90. It has a few pin cracks, but everything's still tight. It's a dandy old roper!

Just found this vintage classic Frontier Double Eagle 4625 and restored and cleaned it up. These were made by Camillus for Imperial and sold under the Imperial Frontier brand. Original factor edge on both blades, never been re-sharpened.

Panther Creek is a great place to explore. I've camped and hunted there in the past but it's probably been 10 years since I was last there. I hope you had a pleasant day afield, friend.

Thank you. Yes it’s a great place. Pretty much raised my kids there on fishing, hunting, hiking and camping. I can’t currently get out like I use to but still enjoy going out there and just taking in the beauty. It’s only about a 15 minute drive so when all the kids were growing up we were out there a lot.
