What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

That Cougar Claw looks fantastic! 😍
Thanks, friend. I think that jigging, along with the cigar pattern, really gives it an old timey look. :)

Thank you. Yes it’s a great place. Pretty much raised my kids there on fishing, hunting, hiking and camping. I can’t currently get out like I use to but still enjoy going out there and just taking in the beauty. It’s only about a 15 minute drive so when all the kids were growing up we were out there a lot.
All this time I thought you resided in KY. :) I love that part of IL where you're at. I grew up and spent the first 22 yrs of my life in Quincy, not far from you.
Your kids must of had a good childhood and a good raising from you getting them out there in the fresh air and spending time in the great outdoors.

I grew up in Louisville Ky. Been here in Beardstown almost 23 years.Still have family in Ky but I haven’t lived there since around 90 or 91.

We have lots of good outdoor memories here and out at Siloam Spring which isn’t far from Quincy.

kyhunt kyhunt I also grew up in Cass County, Illinois and, I am very familiar with Chandlerville. My dad hunted and fished all of that area in the 60s & 70s. Then, he bought a piece of property east of Bluff Springs where I grew up. We hunted out our back door, and we mostly fished the Illinois River. It was a great time and place to grow up! sunknife sunknife I also spent a lot of time in the Quincy area as a kid. To me, it was “The Big City.” In ‘87 & ‘88, I was a camp counselor at Saukenauk Scout Reservation. Those were good days! Thanks for the trip down memory lane, guys! 😁

P.S. now I wish I had a fried buffalo sandwich iykyk

Just found this vintage classic Frontier Double Eagle 4625 and restored and cleaned it up. These were made by Camillus for Imperial and sold under the Imperial Frontier brand. Original factor edge on both blades, never been sharpened.

Very nice! I luv the brass bolsters of the Double Eagle line. (I have a 8OT size Double Eagle stockman. For all intents and purposes, a brass & wood 8OT with stainless blades.)
I'm going to "have" to keep an i out for one of these. I am also rather fond of the large two blade folding hunter patten, of late.
One has been on my belt every day for a couple months now.
I like a matching stockman and classic/venerable two blade folding hunter carry. Quite versatile. 😁👍
