What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

A fine Congress that is showing the passing of time most gracefully Gev:)

Fine jewels too, do you make the glass too?

Thanks, Sam
The Kastors made fine knives back in the day. And talk about sharp!!

Yes, I really enjoy glass work. These are a few of the whimsical flower series.

Really knice Congress Stephen, a little more info if you'd please.

I've been carrying the GEC Forum Congress Jack since I received it in December, it's still being babied although it's developing that pocket worn, pocket patina from riding in my pocket with change and such.

Still haven't cut anything that will stain the blade and begin the patina process, still enjoying the sayin polished blades.

I do gotta take some pictures, even if my cameras macro isn't working I should just take pictures.

Thank you. It's one of my favorites though I don't carry nearly enough. It's made by GEC and is branded GEC (as opposed to Tidioute or Northfield). The pattern number is 62 and is referred to as an Easy Pocket Congress due I suppose to its single spring and rounded bolsters. Compared to most congresses, it really is quite thin and a joy to carry, especially for a knife that is 3 3/4" in length. This one is a half congress and has American Elk handles and 440C wharncliffe and pen blades. Fit and finish are excellent and the 440C is a nice change of pace from the vast majority of GEC knives that I own in 1095, but its the quality of the Elk stag that makes this knife special to me. Thanks again.

That's a great looking blade Kris!

Thanks Duane, it is my main backpacking knife, solid nickel silver fittings, curly birch handle, and laminated 3G steel. 3G is very impressive and the fit and finish is spot on, one of my favorites and most trusted.

This guy - liking this SFO #73 in Garnet Bone with Spey blade by Mike Latham. It's slim and I love this blade and it's match-strike long pull.

Firewall shape, pop rivets, square tubing, Ford blue, just enough clues......Looks very nice so far BTW.

Hah. It's getting there. Working on wiring it up now. Gotta finish cooling system and get dash and gauges in And should be ready to go cart it.
