Today pulled out a 50s Colonial Stockman with rubberized simulated burnt stag scales, real bolsters and all no tin shell.

This puppy's never been sharpened, lightly carried, (that's about to change)

Where on earth did you get that pocket screwdriver?
It sure is cuter than the 1 I got at Sears.:o

They come from Lee Valley Tools. They are pretty cheap and sold by the dozen. I have them spread throughout the house and car. The work well with raised-head screws, but not for the flush ones. I carry the Craftsman version on my keychain, though. I found it to be more useful. The Lee Valley are great because of the tapered edge. You get a straight up-and-down driver, but the edge itself goes from thick to thin, so you can exactly mate it to the screw slot.

Like your little Beretta, too.

Been carrying an SAK Mechanic w/the Case Barehead Slimline Trapper today.

And a Smith&Wesson .38. :D

Just before heading back over here to Iraq this time, I picked up a "plain vanilla" Case 6344SS medium stockman. It's a really neat "carryable" pocketknife, and the blades have taken a really great edge! I'm going to enjoy carrying and using this one!

Case red bone/CV Slimline Trapper. My new favorite pattern, subject to change on a whim and a moment's notice. :D

Today it`s 3 different blade styles I`ve with me. :D

My Diefenthal lockback (backlock?) folder, stainless blade, stag scales

my Robert Rossdeutscher "friction folder style" slipjoint. (The blade shape reminds me of a Spyderco Military blade. :) )Carbon steel blade, pretty thin and a great slicer.

and a handmade (by unknown maker) german style hunting knife (carbon steel blade/sambar stag) from ~ 1895 - 1900.
Knife was reworked by german Christian Greb because the stag was somewhat broken and he replaced it with the sambar stag of an old pipe-equipment of the same age (more than 100years old)!

It`s a pleasure using that old knife `cause it still gets and keeps a great edge!

Der nicker gefällt mir sehr gut, angenehme graue patina, natürlich sind die anderen auch schön anzusehen.

First I carried my N°8 Opinel and my Wenger SI today, later I switched to a roughcut stockman and my Buck 112.
