What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Nice Alex:thumbup: Is that Acrylic? I ask because as of late I have become somewhat smitten with this one:o

Hey Paul,
Yes it is, it's the Orange Crush acrylic. The mark side looks like its name might suggest, whereas the pile side appears more like an "orange swirl." I don't have a lot of acrylic stuff in my accumulation of sharps, but I really like this one a lot. It has such depth, and really catches the light in interesting ways.
I would be smitten with that one, too! Great pattern, and the covers are mesmerizing! :)

hartlogan I got that same pair today.Very nice, I like your mammoth better than mine.

Nice! Hope you're enjoying them. Don't be bashful about posting pictures of those puppies :)

I think I got in really early on the last batch of mammoth ones and sort of got my pick of the litter (although perhaps behind Mink)!

It's been said before by others, but I'll say it again: you not only have excellent taste in knives, but your photography skills are fantastic. I would love to see a group shot of your entire collection (or at least your particular favorites).

Thanks, Primble and Pete. (Is that a television sitcom....? ;) )
Primble, I really dig that small Coke Bottle, and I have to agree with plk7, you have excellent taste in knives -- always showing us something nice!

The patina on my trapper is natural/earned, and developed very slowly over the last 14 years, so it's nice and even. I'll snap another photo at lunch time, with blades open.

Nice Ebony Caplifter!! I'm loving wood scales more and more... African Blackwood and Ebony are just beautiful and the smooth finish is so pleasant in hand.

Smithhammer - that is a nice photo of a real elegant looking GEC.

Thanks, folks. As much as I love the #15 pattern, I knew I needed one of these as soon as I saw it. And it sure comes in handly around 5pm...:D
