Keen Kutter K440 SS - Made from 1910-1920. Solid Sterling Silver handles. She's absolutely gorgeous and my oldest knife. Yes, she gets carried and used from time to time, and yes, she gets treated with the utmost care and respect.

Hale Storm, that scroll work is beautiful. How long have you had her and what was the story about your acquisition?

Nice Schrade? Gevonovich.

Great Primble Primble. I like the patina on the blades too. That is what I'm shoot'n for on my Hatch knife. ;) :)

It was recent acquisition and sadly, it was online with zero fanfare or story. On the other hand, in another 30-40 years when I'm gone and it goes to one of my sons or a future grandchild, there will be a few stories and some family history to go with it. Even if the only story is, "yeah, dad bought this knife over 40 years ago back in 2014, and finally gave it to me to enjoy............."

This is all that really matters.

Hope you get there with it Mark - it is a super knife!

Gevonovich - terrific Schrade Walden - another coincidence that we both picked an old peach seed today - I picked my carry and copied my picture to post early a.m. Thanks for your comment!

Stephen - excellent once again, friend - that Schrade Walden looks nearly mint!;) Thanks for your comment - glad you are back!

Hale Storm - excellent find on the ole Keen Kutter - I enjoyed getting to look at it.

Willgoy - thank you for speaking so highly of my ole knife!

Rachel - nice, nice, nice - thanks for the open view.

Back to work - took a break from my mowing to post this - also other chores today before the holiday! :)

I'm toting around my ivory Ulster today. I consider this one to be one of the best of my collection of slipjoints.

I love a nice single blade sheepsfoot. Can I have more info about this knife please?
