What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Yesterday and today was a Sabre/Japan large single blade barlow/trapper(?) I found at a flea-market this weekend. Sawcut bone handles, carbon blades, half-stops, pretty sturdy knife. It'll be a good user.

Very nice looking carry knives everyone.

I have been carrying this canoe. And today I had a itch to use a peanut so I grabbed my PW Red Bone.

Tonight I got out the Queen City Cutlery Classic teardrop jack in 1095 and antique green jigged bone.
A few swipes on the fine diamond, plus a few more on the ceramic and it's NICE and sharp.
I think I'll be totin' this one for a while. 3-7/8" closed.

Been waiting for that same knife a you've got there Jeff:thumbup:

Dealer sent me the WRONG knife an English Jack arrived instead of he Teardrop:mad: Sent it back, but still waiting, waiting empty handed...

So, in compensation and by way of inspiration, today it will be Queen Cutlery Teardrop Liner lock in bone, superb finish on this one:thumbup:

The only slipjoint I carry everyday for now is a black Victorinox Executive. It's an SAK, but I still feel it is a traditional pattern, a gentleman's 'lobster' pen knife.

Every time I go in this traditional forum, though, I get the itch to buy more old-time patterns. I've been thinking maybe a toothpick, 2-blade jackknife of some sort, or whatever.

After posting these pictures of this knife the other day in the Barlow Thread, it's been on my mind so I slipped it into my pocket this morning.
