What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I do like that Bultaco it reminds me of the Cotton Minarelli i buzzed around on back when. Today i carry these two as i pedal my old bicycle about, getting old is a bitch.

Sounds like fun Kris. I miss my dirt bikes, I'm scoping out a 76 TL125 today:o, It's no Bultaco, but dirt cheap. Oh yeah....nice knives too!
Just did the Knievel loop with a few thousand of the finest bikes for Evel Knievel Days, becoming a favorite stop before folks head to Sturgis, Butte gets even more crazy for a few days, pretty impressive and loud.

These two are with me tonight,

So many beautiful knives. I wish I could keep up and comment. Love the old bike Kris. It goes great wit the Steingass. Is that Koa on it. I have a soft spot for Koa and ladder pattern Damascus. I have a nice piece of Koa stashed for a special project.

Chris

Thanks Chris, Koa it is, and a beautiful piece at that. Tim put a Tru-oil finish on it.

Sounds like you had a blast Kris! I always love seeing that Hartkopf  It really goes well with the Steingass.

Thank you gentlemen, quite the ride with that many bikes. They also set a world record for jumping a semi truck last night, it was cool to watch. Mark, that TL is a great bike. Have a great weekend.

Carrying these two today by Rick Menefee,

Classics - I love my Opinels! Especially the ones with the old Markers Mark like this one. Nice!
I think you'll enjoy this one that belonged to my Grand'Pa, a former market porter , meat section, in Zola's "Belly of Paris". It had a tough life being at task daily for years and losing a few cm!
This one is pre 50s as there is no lock. Still razor sharp.

Hey Black Mamba, that sure is a nice looking Bulldog!
I carried the Higo yesterday and might carry it again today. Some decisions should be given careful consideration and never ever be made before coffee. :p
Y'all have a great weekend!!!

Jolipapa, that's as nice as they come. You're fortunate to have it. Do you think your Grand'Pa carved the handle grooves?

I'm really diggin' the covers on those. What does Case call them?

Rick, Amber is correct, they seem to look better in hand than the pics show too, at least the pics I have taken of my knives.

I believe it's their amber bone Rick, these show quite a bit more red/amber than mine do though.

I had an amber canoe that I passed along a ways back, and the covers on that one were almost translucent near the bolsters, My stockman that I recently acquired has some touches of grey near the bolsters. I really like the amber covers.
