Noir Rain
Rousing thunder
Breaths of triatomic clean
Tremulous torrents
Black and white memories falling
Like dreams that cannot stay
Clouds melting away

Standing firm
No power can break
Age of time can not deminish
Memory carrying over
For youth to champion
A pic of beauty :D

Post one either way. I've been hesitant to try it myself, some pictures of a bad outcome would help put my fears at ease! [emoji14]

What's the worst that could happen? :D

The blade isn't an even color. After the vinegar, I used it to cut up those onions, so it's a more natural looking patina now. I could always go back with more.

I did the backspring, too. I made sure to scrub it with baking soda afterwards to prevent rust. Then lots of oil, of course. I like it

Looks good! How'd you do the back spring without getting the bone?

Umm... was I not supposed to get vinegar on the bone?

I didn't do a long soak, just dabbed it on. It doesn't seem to have hurt it any. :)

Well that makes me feel even better! I remember reading somewhere that the vinegar dries out the bone or something, but I couldn't tell you where or when I read that, so it's entirely possible I made it up.

It could affect some dyes in the bone, I suppose.
