Great character on that Opinel!

Really really like that deep colour in that sawcut!

This one on the last day of 2015.

I meant to add in the details but forgot. Sorry Jim! The gun is a Browning Silver Hunter 20ga, folder is a Bret Dowell Trapper in acid etched A2 and green canvas micarta. The fixed blade is an L.T. Wright Hunter Pro Elite in D2 and Ironwood.

I hope that everyone has a great New Years! Thanks for opening my eyes to a lot of knowledge, new friends, new knives and plenty of knife eye candy!

Beautiful knife Paul, one of my grail knives, wish I had bought one when they first came out. :(

Thanks Ted, I'd always sought this knife but yet somehow seemed elusive all these years. It is an amazingly well built knife...Very glad to have it and thanks to the kind of generosity found on this forum I now have a knife that was well worth the wait:cool:

Have a very prosperous New Year my friend:thumbup:

@ Jake great picture and knives Jake, but really like that shotgun:cool:

New Year's Day opens bright, but still no snow:confused:

Shall I stay in or go out?? I feel like an aged Tortoise today...hence my choice of knife:D

Nice pair Lemmy

Jack - very nice knives to end the year with and very pretty pictures !

...

I am ending the year with the John Primble ISW Black Stag Crown Jack and the Keen Kutter EO Jack that led the more sheltered life:

Thank you, Bob. :D That got a laugh out of me!

Me too! :D Good stuff Bob :)

Cool pic Ted, I'm enjoying your new camera

Have a great day's climbing Kris

Nice crisp pic Jake

I didn't actually carry it very far.

LOL! Nice one Jer, I don't think I'd want to carry it very far either! :D

Thanks, Jack and Ron, I'm fit as a fiddle now (although the fiddle is probably a little out of tune by now :p).
Jack, that's an exquisite pair with which to end the year!

LOL! I know the feeling GT! :D THank you my friend, you've picked another interesting bunch of knives

My first post to this side of the forum, but I've spent some time drooling over traditionals here. Here is what has been in my pockets this week. Queen 69 1/2 2 blade Barlow. Also an old plaid Richards.

Welcome to The Porch

Happy 2016 everyone! :) Hope it's a good year for all of us

Starting the new year with the one that started it all:

I hope everyone had a great and safe (but not too safe) new year's!

Thank you Primble, what a stunning end to the year! :)
Happy 2016 everyone! :) Hope it's a good year for all of us

That is a fine start Mr. Jack ! I suppose OW is basking in the rays of the Tide's victory last night ! ;):D

Starting the new year with the one that started it all:

Nice pic and knives, Jake.

Kris, you know how I feel about that Zscherny. Be careful on the ice and have a great climb. It's exciting to see that your Karl Anderson knife is in the finals on the Best Bowie thread in the Custom and Handmade forum. So glad I got to see that one.

Chris

Thanks Chris, I knew my knife wouldn't win with that Musso bowie, but is nice to be a part of it. Taking my family snowshoeing today and loading on complex carbs for tomorrow. Have a great weekend my friend. These two fine knives are with me,

Tom Ploppert Diamond Edge cattle knife and a drop point by the legend, Robert Waldorf Loveless

Hope everyone has a fun and safe night. I'll be carrying my Oeser Moose to end 2015 on a high note!

I'm not sure why I never commented on this one, but wow, that is one beautiful knife! I love the blade selection and covers.

Primble, you have some of the most stunning eureka jacks!

Wonderful Dean ! :thumbup::)

Thanks, Rob.

Wishing you all a very Happy New Year:thumbup:

Carried this long elusive "City Knife" today thanks to Tim aka Ryouchijtx. Tim indulged in some Shenanigans with fellow forum member Dean, aka RDaneel to make my eight year search for this knife possible. I've meant to post a BIG thank you to both of you before this but I finally found the time:o

Thanks Guys!!!

You've got to watch out for Tim, Paul. He's got a heart of gold. (He's also the chief shenaniganizer! :D;))

Happy New Year!!!!

What a gorgeous knife to start the New Year off! That is stunning Damascus, rinos.

I decided to ring in the New Year with my entire Northwoods collection in my pockets. Both are treasures, but the Presidential is currently "the One."
