Laurent Gaillard Forester for me

Sam

I didn't realize that was a slipjoint at first. I thought it was a little fixed blade. I really like it!! You'd think the file work would be towards the front as sort of thumb jimping but it looks good as an accent at the back of the knife as well. It's nice to see something different!

Just a gorgeous skunk!!

Jack

Probably my favorite of all the TC scales I've seen. Interesting coin, too. :)

Thank you, the coin is a South Korean 100 won from 1974. I lived there for several years in the 70s where I met my wife and our son was born. :)

Today's carry: An Orchard Gem which is my favorite CF knife; and my long term EDC (sharing time with its ebony brother) a Burgundy Presidential.

I know these imperials are not that special, but I got 2 of 'em from an auction site and put a razor edge on them and removed some rust inside. I like this one with the drop blade, the other is a clip. Good snap and a good user.

Nothing wrong with an Imperial Barlow. My grandfather carried many of them as they were good little knives at an affordable price. They were meant to be used. Some people may not be that wild about them because of "cheap" materials and clamshell design, but those carbon blades can get scary sharp. Old Imperial Barlows always make me think of Grandad, and that always brings a smile.

Gev It's a nice example thank you, nor does it stink.:D:D.

Ron Most kind my friend, I'm always keen on an Equal End, it's versatile.

mitch the colours are nice thank you, the pile side is just as good. One of GEC's nicest acrylics.

Many thanks, Will

In honor of Pertinux's birthday, I slipped this TC in my pocket, first thing this morning. It reminds me of her, possibly because she used to show her Antique Amber TC frequently and gave me the wants. I finally found one, however, her particular one is the prettiest. I nick named mine a PPP antique amber - Pertinux's Potassium Permanganate. Her pictures of her Antique Amber TC inspired.

She is the gem of the porch, IMO ! Happy birthday Sarah and I hope your day is a fine one all day ! :)

I thought this picture described mine best today, since it is cold and the snow is flying again!
