That's almost the quintessential jackknife (IMHO, it would be even better with a 2nd blade)!

…
Early start for me tomorrow, but I'm going to be carrying these two :)

Those are a couple of attention-getters, Jack! Based on carry-time, the Harrison Fischer with the stunning bone has put a spell on you! :D:thumbup:

I don't remember seeing that camper before, Jack. Is it an Old Timer or a "New Timer"?
I had the same question. Sure looks like Old Timer sawcut delrin covers on that BSA knife, but I don't think I've ever seen an Old Timer camper. (I'm almost certain there's no current scout knife Old Timer from Taylor-Schrade.)

…That is a super keen looking knife, GT.:)
…
Ebony and African Blackwood for me on this wooden Wednesday.

Thanks, Dean. :) Your double dark duet is definitely distinguished!!

After 20 days with Lizard Skin, I decided to dress up my pocket at work today with a knife I haven't carried in a very long time.

Wow, Jake, that BF congress jack is magnificent!

One of my favorites

Anchors aweigh! I can see why that's high on your list, chrisbfu!

Very classy canoe, Peter! Maker and model?

This one was on my desk and it really is an old gem. I saw Deans president ....well I could not resist it:D

I am going to give it a bit more attention tonight ( The Ulster stays as well )

What a looker, Gev! I'm thrilled to get another look at it!

Amazing, Brett! Great to see you back on The Porch!

Nice knives today everyone! :) I had a Double Dose of Black Micarta today!:D

Very appealing, Ron! It's fitting that you went with the dark handles now that you've gone over to the "Dark Side" of carrying fixed blades! :D;)

Here are photos of some other knives in my pockets this week.

A John Primble accompanying my City Knife today.

Thank you for the kind words! The canyon creek is great knife but don't get to close to the edge of the dock with it in your pocket; it will take you straight to the bottom:eek:

Tom

Love the old Primble...just fantastic!

Beautiful pairing today:thumbup::thumbup::D

Id like to introduce my first post to the forum; technically my second. I was compelled to join in order for a KSF give-away. I was disappointed I couldn't get my image to display the way I hoped. Today I will try again. Forgive me if I am in the wrong place but here is my slip joint. I have a lot to learn so If anybody wants to comment I would appreciate it

Thanks Paul! Your red 15 looks great. For me, the 15 is the quintessential jackknife!

I must concur, they are extremely good. Rory was born 15/12/14 (in Europe it's day/month/year) so I got two 151214s one for him and one for me :)

You've really captured that bone beautifully Joe

Beautiful Lamb's foot for Wooden Wednesday, Jack.

...

Thank you my friend, that's a very nice combination :)

After 20 days with Lizard Skin...

I'm sure you can get ointment for that Jake! ;) :D

Lovely Gev

They look good together Ron

Thank you Mr. Jack. I know a waitress just like that !!!:thumbup::D:D:D

Definitely an OT r8shell, a gift from the good Mr Paul Hilborn :) It's a regular hiking companion, but I've not been doing a lot of that this wet rotten winter :(

Two great-looking Barlows Ron

Welcome to Traditionals

Very nice Paul

Nice pair! Is that ebonite covers on the Rodgers?

Unusual Rodgers, doesn't look like Ebonite I don't think.

Two great-looking Barlows Ron

Jack - Thank you for the compliments my friend. :)

Have the Le Thiers with me today. I've been very keen on the Takeda folder as well. So a French and Japanese folders.

sshakari - That Le Thiers is a beautiful folder.

balor85 - That is 2 niceuns you have there. Very classy! :)

which pattern is the fancy Tip Top? I like it!

The Tip Top is a Camillus Barlow. The clip blade model is a #11 and the spear blade model is a #10. I believe I am correct in stating that this knife was made between 1946 and 1949.

Just received this 76. A debt repaid. I didn't recall the debt being owed, so someone making this effort makes this carry all the more special to me.
