Absolutely beautiful Paul. Mark outdid himself on that one. Looks like he's really upped his game. Great gift from a great friend.

I hafta second the Queen stockman, great size, my only complaint is the shield is glued and mine popped out, luckily I found it in my pocket but I know of 2 other members here who had lost theirs too. Other than that it's a great little knife and I enjoy carryin' mine every chance I get. If you can find one I'd highly recommend picking it up.

Thanks Ted. One of Queen's really great patterns, that and the Whittler they do in D2. The 26 really has appeal, great in the hand. The Forum Knife 08 was based on the same frame by the then Northwoods but I think the Queen D2 version is better suited. Been on the lookout for a Zebra version for ages now...;)

Oh and those shields, yeah annoying.:grumpy: I've had more shields drop out of Queens than all other makes put together I now prise off the shields and re-glue them myself as obviously Queen's glue is rubbish, not worth sniffing anyway...:D:D

I really enjoy carrying and using this little simple slip joint knife by Loewen Messer from Solingen with a carbon steel blade and plastic handles on steel liners. It is simply called "Arbeitsmesser" (work knife):

Carrying this Joseph Allen 8173-1914 Clasp Knife today

Nice knife, but a glorious brunch HST ;)

Yesterday I attempted to make a horizontal leather belt sheath for my SAK Farmers. It was a failure of epic proportions. Undaunted and in fact emboldened by the experience, I am going to continue the project this week as I have about 7 feet of usable leather remaining :).

For me today:

Thank you! Your combos are always so colorful. I always dig your carry. Interested to see a completed sheath. [emoji106]

Gun scout today-

I love the patina and taste of 1095 steel with any freshly cooked meat. Great pic.

Bloodwood trio

And awesome trio it is.

This WONDERFUL knife arrived late Thursday. I LOVE this Fish Barlow brother Mark!!!

Jack That Rodgers at 4" is quite a lot bigger than the knife from Queen at 3.25". It looks a relatively narrow knife though with some useful low joints, perhaps Jolipapa might consider the GEC 81 Abilene Stock Knife, they're 4" and much less bulky that the CASE Large Stockman (a fine knife but too big for my carry taste).

...
Thank you Jack & Will, 4" is a tad long, 3,25 a bit short. The 81 is 4", but remains an excellent option.

Gorgeous Jack, great detail of the handle in that shot as well.

Carrying 2 of my most used today.

Greetings All.

I just finished the week long challenge. It was more difficult than I thought it would be. I like variety.

So many pictures of great knives everyone!

Today I'm carrying a Case Barlow from the late 60's and Vic Pioneer that I found at the market this past weekend. I already have a Pioneer but I couldn't resist.

I really do look forward to seeing your combinations, and that Camillus is a lovely knife

This WONDERFUL knife arrived late Thursday as I was headed out to ready my work truck for an early deck season, worked late so no time to chicken eye and coon finger. Up early and on the road to clean/prep 4 decks for staining the following day...no time for devotion:grumpy: Up early on on the road Saturday to stain the decks I prepped the day before, worked late and STILL, NO TIME for devotion.....UNTIL an hour or so before sunset today:thumbup:

Tomorrow will be a good day as this will ride with me all day long:cool:
