I've been carrying this one the past few days. I like it a lot but wouldn't you know my kid shows up last night with this "cool old coke bottle" where you have to pop the top and I didn't have my SAK Pioneer on me.

Some great pics and knives being shown, lately!:thumbup:
RDaneel and 5K Qs - Thanks for the comments on the Prarie Jack, gentlemen.

I'm bringing my 3 week carry to an end. I enjoyed everyday with my Northwoods Denim MJ.

I'll be toting this #852216, until I leave for Dublin.

Freshly serviced and the other getting ready for storage.

Stylish Powderhorn, A.L.! I had to google "Munich beer horn" because I didn't recognize the term; I can see why you want to get one to complement your knife! Very cool!

:D I don't think beer horn is Munchen kind of thing only, but you certainly should have those around there. We are going there this summer. I am planning to pick traditional Bavarian nicker knife there, and maybe lederhosen to go with that. ;)

More of the knives I'm carrying this week:

I love that you can carry grand pa knife!
My grandpa didn't exactly carry knife but we had puukko's of course. My father's father had puukko's from the winter war but he never talked about them/about war.
I wish that my grandfathers had more time to grow old so I could have talked with them when I was more mature.

Thanks, Gary. Two thumbs way up for that Swayback Jack!:thumbup:

Two beautiful examples of Victorinox technology. The silver tech knives are so neat with their look inside handles.

The Farmer's Jack was with me on the trails today. It sure does cut well! :)

This little H&R Whittler snuck into my pocket again this morning. It made an appearance here last week, and it just keeps ending up in my hand. I'm not sure if it's the shape, the balance, or the feel of the old reclaimed white oak from whiskey barrels. I can't put my finger on why, but I really like this knife.

wow I love it.

Picked this #66 medium stockman up from the exchange last week, and gave it my usual "PPP" (Pocket Protective Patina) before carrying it. ;)
I make a warm paste of coffee grounds and cider vinegar to stir the blades in. It's kind of blotchy right now, but will even out with use.

Very nice!
I'd love to snatch Un-X-Ld stockman one day..

I've had some time after work to get caught up at home, so I only find myself skipping a day or two checking on the porch lately. Unfortunately, after an hour of Cloudflare/database maintenance last night, I gave up trying to post and left it for today. :grumpy: So, I give you the carries from the last three days...

Right around sundown on Tuesday was my very first opportunity to step away and snap a photo -- first time carrying the #40 Case dogleg trapper but doubtlessly not the last:

Uprooting some carries for Wooden Wednesday:

I went with an organic motif for Thursday -- horn, bone, and wood:

(Had to post this morning because of two more hours of database errors... :grumpy:)
