This wooden SAK found its way into my pocket today.

Dean, that’s a cool twist on the old concept of a black/white pairing!

I don't think I've shown the horn Joker or the red Vic Classic I'm carrying this week:

Thanks, GT! Nice shot of that Joker! Horn always seems to glow outside.

I've been bitten by the Barlow bug - this came in today's mail.

Nice bone on that Russell.

Soon after taking pic, knife took a bath in the coffee....

Oh no! I hope it cleaned up well.

I'm giving this one some pocket time today.

Great-looking Barlow, Dean! I've been shafted twice now trying to get an older Ulster, still chasing after my refund for this most recent one... :grumpy:

Carrying these three today:

Sorry to hear that. I got this one at a knife show last weekend. When it comes to older Barlows, I like to see and buy them in person.

The Pioneer joined me for another hike this week 4 miles of rough terrain but this was my view at the 2 mile mark.

I got this 3.5" Menefee Drop Point in the mail today. It's cool, I like it! It has a 1/8" stock blade and spring so it gives the knife a good weight without overdoing it in bulk. The scales are nice and thin for this reason. Real nice swedges help thin the feel of the blade down as well. Really nice action, flush spring in all positions and everything is radiused super smooth.

It was used quite a bit, so it needs some touch ups. Hence, why I'm going to carry it for the rest of today, work on it tomorrow and throw it right back in the pocket.

Tom, it's black micarta. I'll take a better, and in color, picture for tomorrow after I get it all cleaned, scratch free and polished.

Buzz...that's a really nice belt sheath!!

This one is back in my pocket for now while John has my newest Dunlap EDC for photos. Knife is 3"

There have been a ton of nice knives posted since I last commented on this thread, so I think I'm going to avoid the multi quoting and just say "nice knives everyone!"
Erik, it's good to see you back here posting.
The 77 finally made it back into my pocket today.

But the CS forum knife has seen the vast majority of my attention over the past couple days doing some whittling in my free time. This knife makes one heck of a whittler!

Still totin' these two, Johnny Stout Zulu and a New Orleans Special from Tim Steingass. The Steingass is off to David Seward tomorrow for a top shelf sheath.

Normally I follow that rule, although certain exceptions have me tempting fate from time to time. My two most recent examples are this lovely spear Russell from yesterday and a Dixon Cutlery (Germany) 'XTRA' Barlow which arrived today and clocks in at the same 4¼" as my #75 stockman -- first time I've handled a Barlow of this particular size.

Edit: Since Cloudflare's creepin' on our favorite site once again, and since I didn't carry that big XTRA today, I posted in the Traditional Barlows thread here instead to hopefully save BF a little headache. Though I did put more photos in that thread, so maybe I'm not really helping matters at all... :o

(BF is doing its 524 timeout Cloudflare thing again... Had to chop my post in half, and something about Wilsonhome's post was really aggravating the forum. :grumpy:)

I absolutely love the handles on that Dunlap, Charles, and that blade selection is awesome. Since those 'yotes came out I've been kinda hooked on Wharnies. Beautiful knife! I'll bet it disappears into the pocket, too.
