What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Glad you got some burgers to go, Jack! :)

...

Compelling combo, Jack!

Thanks GT, me too, the weather changed again and it has barely stopped raining since I wolfed them down! :D Good to see more of this week's carry my friend

Nice work John

Dusty Moulton bowie... My new EDC.

Looks good CM

Just stopped in to see what my knife friends have been posting lately. Many beautiful specimens !:)

It has been a particularly outstanding year for spring fishing this year and I have been busy devoting most all of my spare time to it. Lots and lots of fish caught and some good uns too.

My little Victorinox Mini Champ has been trimming a lot of line for me.

Early to bed - early to rise !

Be back more regularly when the fish allow it. ;):D

Best regards,

Mr. P.

Thanks for calling in Mr P, happy fishing my friend

Thank you as always for the information, sir. The pearl was what set it apart for me on first look, and I picked it up for a pittance considering the covers were mostly intact. They look fantastic when they catch the light just right and I enjoy the juxtaposition of such a utilitarian, "dirty" pattern with the elegance of the MOP.

The stag on that nameless jack is outstanding. If I were you I'd forget all about the absence of the tang stamp.

...

All bareheads today -- the Davis XTRA Barlow came out on its maiden pocket voyage with my trusty Wingen and the ubiquitous 'yote in tow. My eyes keep falling in love with the covers on the Barlows.

A pleasure TB, and thanks, I can see exactly why you are enamoured with your pipe knife :) A great line-up there, and the Barlow is fantastic

Thank you Jack
Those stag covers on the bottom mystery knife. Nice!

Thanks a lot Dan :)

Carrying my mystery jack again today, along with this Harrison Fisher Crown Penknife. Have a great day everyone

I've had knives like that. The longer I keep them, the more I like them. I can see why that one grew on you, Ron. It's a beauty!

Thanks Dean:)

You bet Ron. I can't let beauty places like that go unexplored and unappreciated. ;)
That 85 looks like a win to me in EVERY aspect.

Thanks Dan:)

I am starting of on this Wednesday with a TC in my pocket, Wooden handles of course!:D

Nice selection of bearheads there, TS. I'm thinking along those lines today, as well.

Queen Trapper in Zebrawood. This may have newbie my first slipjoints. I bought it before I really knew what traditional knives were but I was on a D2 steel kick.

This knife was made back when Queen were putting out amazing knives. The quality easily rivals any GEC in my collection.

Old Ulster Barlow today. I love the beautiful materials and bolster markings of these old knives and always find myself thinking "What's your story?" or "Where all have you been in your lifetime?". To me, that's part of the enjoyment of old pocketknives.

AJ, like others mentioned, a beautiful pair of knives:thumbup:

Dean, one can NEVER tire of a beautiful TC:)

Steel clad in African Blackwood and Ebony for me today...

Paul Top quality, such interesting patterns being both unusual and useful. I NEED a Lick Creek in Ivory Bone so I can have it with my Ivory Bone Eureka:cool:

Primble Glad to hear of you. Hope you can freeze/smoke all the fish you can't eat:thumbup:

Thanks, Will

Two terrific knives, Tom ; your Camillus scout always gives me “warm fuzzies” (as do so many of the vintage knives I see here)! I hope your move goes smoothly; across town or across the country?

Among the knives I'm carrying this week are:
a modified 2014 Forum knife (thanks, Mark)

Thanks GT! Just across town, simplifying and consolidating (everything but knives ;) ). I feel good about the new place but moving is no fun.

Really cool forum knife, congrats on that one

My well loved TC is riding along today.

I haven't carried this walnut TC in a while so I figured I'd show it some love.

Stay tuned tomorrow for a Davison that traveled a long way to get to me......

Very nice looking Barlows. What is the one in the middle?

Always fun to carry a Talon!

Gorgeous TCs Tom and Jake.

For Wooden Wednesday, I carried a favorite - an ebony Talon.
