What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Today was one of those days were I started out with one knife & switched up,mid day. You ever have days like that ?
-Vince :)

This Camillus-made Remington stockman tagged along with me today.
The scales are fugly, but the action and blade shapes are perfect. I like the 0170-6C blade steel, as well.

Wow....thats a bloody nice knife there Jeff
I have got a couple with me this morning, ( and yes Vince...I do have a knife swap during the weekends  )
I have a non traditional ( sorry ) kershaw blur, and also I have a lovely little damascus Case toothpick...lovely wee knife, I think the two make a great team with all their differences mixed.

Elliot, Whoa.. This vintage Winchester of yours is extraordinary and makes my heart beat hard and fast.. What a super find -- fantastic old premium jack!

I changed up this morning to my old Marshall Wells Hardware Company Easy Open Harness Jack pattern. This knife was produced by New York Knife Company, circa 1893-1917 for Marshall Wells Hardware. She is covered in Ebony and her snap is second to none. Certainly one of my favorite HJ's and EO's. ;) :)

Best,
Anthony

Just looking back in this absolutely amazing thread, ..Elliot, I envy you greatly...that WINCHESTER is simply beautiful...wow, and what grand shape she is in!!
Anthony, that easy opener is a honey, I love knives like this, and its a shame that New Zealand has VERY little of them here....being a "new" country, our depth of history is little, and when something like this would come up...you would have to be quick.
Lovely knife that gives me great pleasure to just look at those great oldies....a very good reason as to why we drool when Charlie opens his doors to a few of his knives.

Well......I WAS totin my Erickson swayback, which I forgot was in my pocket going through security on my way to DC. Luckily I live in Nashville and ever 3rd person has a knife on him, so security is used to it and doesn't have a hissy fit (I'm talking about you NYC, Boston and Chicago!!!!!!!!!!!!!). Then when I went to mail it to myself, the dumba#s people manning the desk had disappeared. So now my favorite swayback is hidden in a covert spot at Nashville airport under some duct tape.

And.....I'll be kissing Ken's ass at Blade to make me another. Wouldn't you know that this week, they decided to do a deep cleaning for the first time in 3 years.

RIP little fella.......we've been through broken tips, blood and guts, scraping toe jam under my toes, and a bunch of other good stuff. I'll miss you...

Campbell, I hope you're trying to pull a fast one, but I sense that your knife is really gone. If so...what a loss!

Yea, it sucks. But that's the cool thing about having knife makers as your friends....they can always replace it ;)

This one has been with me since it arrived a couple of days ago. Sometimes paired with a larger clip folder, sometimes riding solo. Either way a true pleasure to carry.

You're killing me! I haven't got a canoe pattern yet (ironically my wife does) and I was going to order one of those but have to wait. :)

Its late over here so I just got my little congress riding top pocket.
