What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I was waiting for the Esky Zulus to show up. :D Today's knives include a new grail knife for me - that Case one-armed Barlow in green jigged bone is a must-have.

Even though I was making an effort to carry things I don't normally carry, I ended up with a 'yote and the big Camillus trapper again (just too good for CF & CE!). Admittedly, it's the Osage yote which is crying out for me to "personalize" it with a patina and some more dings while I give the camel bone a rest, but judging from what I spied in the mailbox today I imagine the 'yotes are going to get a little bit of a break. :D A Queen Workhorse #69 in Delrin and 1095 rounds out the trio.

I think the #69 might be a candidate for a rehandle. Mammoth, perhaps? I enjoy the idea of that "EDC" etch meaning that the knife is my EDC, and not that it's a factory second.

Anyone know if grinding down an uneven bolster is feasible while still attached? Besides the extra pinhole someone derped into existence, this knife also has a longer mark side bolster than pile side. It needs about 1/16" removed to be even for the rehandle. It looks easy-ish, but I'm a rank amateur. I'm also kicking around the idea of sending it to glennbad or one of our other enterprising modders, but eventually I'm going to have to learn to do this stuff myself.

This one arrived today and it was well worth the wait:thumbup:

Rick Menefee trapper along with a Tad Lynch damascus and Koa gentlemens bowie in a sheath that David Seward made, David just finished the belt carrier in full quill ostrich. Allows for better carry options.

I like the patina that's starting to form Ron...tell Pam I said hello! Looking forward to hopefully seeing you at Rendezvous again this year!

Ben, I'm happy that you're happy with that one! It has everything right with it.

I post this one quite often because I carry it so much, it's perfect for that reason. I thought the forum would get sick of me posting pictures but I think it may be the opposite. I see a little while ago that someone had Todd make them one exactly like it. I'm still waiting for them to show their face lol...what's the saying, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery? I hope they're as happy as I am with this knife...

It was the first knife made specifically to my requirements.

#1271 , 3-5/8", CPM154, lanyard tube, coining around the whole frame, pinched bolster, steep clip blade, cut swedge, long nail nick, green canvas micarta.

Officially named "Lizard Skin" by my girlfriend.

Thanks Jake. Pam said hello and we will see you there! :D I do not think any true slip joint lover would ever get tired of seeing " Lizard Skin"!

Please do. That's the closest approximation to the old Case red bone that I've seen yet. Is it just a chestnut dye job with a large color gradient or is it meant to be deep red? Fantastic teardrop!

Thanks mate, I've just reviewed it here:
