Green looks so good on a knife. (Well perhaps not my CASE sour apple bone Wharncliffe Trapper, looks like algae!)
This one arrived today and it was well worth the wait:thumbup:
THANKS BRAD:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Looking good Dean
I'm still working on making this little yeller nut my own.

It's picked up some scratches and handling marks, including a nice rub on the bottom bolster from where I've been spinning it on my desk. It's an unassuming knife, but Case has the fit and finish dialed in on this one. It's become my worry stone and constant companion.
Love the knife, but that's the worst etch EVER, who puts their phone number on the blade?

Kept it simple today.
One day I plan on calling the number. Just to see who answers.
Thanks Dadpool. If by "simple" you mean perfect, then yes.Yowza! That's such a lovely knife.
That's a very handsome knife, Dan! How did you treat the blades to get such a uniform patina?
I love a good action shot, r8shell!
Exquisite photo of a ravishing Beer Scout, Paul!In anticipation of a couple of cold beers once I get home from work

You have an amazing selection of fine gunboats from which to choose, TB!
I've said it before and I'm sure I'll continue saying it: I think that's an almost unbeatable pair, Jack! I think I'd recognize either of those knives anywhere. (May I copy the images to put in my knife photos hall of fame?
Congrats on picking up that unique Weidmannshell, Ken!...
I picked up this Weidmannsheil at an antique store yesterday so I thought I'd give it a carry today.

Dean and Ron, those are just such classy, venerable, feel-good Barlows!! Both are perfect 10s!:thumbup:...
I just love an old well worn and well loved sawcut bone Barlow!

OK, I'm breaking my rules, but I couldn't pass up noting this third post from the same page as the Barlows, I think. Doctor, I don't know what that knife is, but it sure is a total knockout!! :thumbup:Scored this yesterday at a Rib Burnoff. I think I"ll be carrying it for awhile.

Phenomenal scout knife, Ted!Sears Craftsman Utility/Scout knife, notice the lack of punch reamer and the addition of an extra blade. Personally I like this configuration the can opener is very capable of punchin' a hole in leather and the extra blade to me would seem more valuable.

Congrats on the new Buck 303, Frank! That (and/or a 301) is a classic Im still looking for, preferably a used/unabused model. Looking forward to seeing a review after youve put it through its paces.I just received a new Buck 303 in classic black. As with all new knives, it went into my pocket and will likely be my daily carry for a spell till I get the feel of it and know the strengths and weaknesses of the design.
I carried a Camillus-made Buck 303 daily for over a decade as a young man. So this is somewhat of a time warp for my brain. I still have the Camillus 303, but I think I like this new 303 better. Time will tell.
In fairness to you, Jack, you didnt know youd be participating in my 2 posts/page beauty contests, but you do have an unfair advantage as long as you keep carrying that anonymous stag of yours that I cant take my eyes off!
Another lovely Barlow, Atiger! Even thought I dont actually own many Barlows, Im apparently a big admirer of the pattern since I keep choosing them as tops posts on the pages on which they occur.[/IMG]![]()
Im not knowledgeable enough to always recognize your knives, GuestWho, but you sure have some magnificent knives displayed in amazing pics! Congrats on that Northwoods zulu! What cover material is that, and whats the knife on the right?
Jumping Jack Flash!!
I thought your first sheath was very functional, jrawk, and this one is both functional AND fashionable! :thumbup:my second attempt at making a pocket slip. This one came out pretty good. A perfect fit for my 77 and Space Pen

Ill probably always be an avid fan of those 2-blade, EO, teardrop jacks. Yours is a real beauty, balor; the jigged bone and shield is outstanding! :thumbup:Northfield 2 blade bullet end jack until I go to work, then back to my 77 barlow.
