I'm liking this old Case penknife.

hey guys newbie here.
mentioned my tradional carrier and a little bit to introduce myself a couple of days ago, but it got moved to a sticky (sorry mods).

So here goes a normal "carry" entry:
Case XX sellect copperlock with smoke black rogers jigged bone scales and factory filework.

Thank you, Mike! Nostimos, I hope you're gonna share that chocolate brownie. ;)

Totin' the sowbelly today. It's my first example of the pattern and I'll definitely be buying more. I touched up the edges on my sharpmaker and it's super sharp... I know because it bit me when I was opening all the blades to take a photo ("The last step in opening all the blades of a multi-blade folder is to wipe off the blood" ;) )

Nostimos, welcome! That is a nice knife you have there. Call me crazy, but I am a sucker for traditional knives with a single blade.

I've been carrying my Menefee Eureka Jack for the last few weeks, but will now switch it up to the knife below, which I just received and which will accompany me on vacation all next week!

I like the bone on that Davison!

Supra, what is the "official" color of that bone? Looks nice, I've been eyeing a Sway Back for a bit.

Thank you. It's molasses jigged bone. I am not sure if they are available separately with this handle material since the knives are from Case's Tony Bose commemorative set. Tony Bose picked out the jigged bone and shields for the set. They're my first examples of these patterns and I'm VERY happy with them -- they're a joy to use. The Sway Back is a great pattern. The chestnut CV sway back (posted by yobbos1) has been on my to buy list for a while.

That is an awesome set Jake!

Thank you for the compliment, Jake. Todd did a great job with this knife, part of which is not evident even in the great picture. Holding it in your hand is what's needed.

Well, I have never posted in here before but I look all the time. I recently got into GEC thanks to Jared and I couldn't be happier. It is everything I look for in a knife. Great FF, functional, solid... what's not to love.

Anyhow, a 2008 54 is my current EDC. When I first got it I sharpened it up to the hilt like I always do. Then after use I have come to like how it sharpens up on my arkansas stones. I made my own strop with some leather Chuck from chuddybear sent me and I mounted on some cedar, loaded with green compound. It works great also, but this knife responds too well to my benchstones :)

Anyhow less talk more pics (cell pics)

It will be in my pocket for a while at least so I hope you all don't mind seeing more pics of it as time passes :)

Haha thanks J. It just so happens the number had the best looking and matched stag out of the group ;-p

First pocket time for this Gene Wiseman 4" shadow hunter in maroon Micarta and D2. Some of the best bang-for-the-buck workmanship I've ever encountered.

THANKS on the edge/chris. i also love Menefee and plan to slowly move into the custom world. I'll probably start with a simple yet beautiful Wiseman, his less expensive non liner ultralites.
Then move up to a menefee, and i'd LOVE to eventually get a davison like in your pic!

By the way RICK, your Wiseman is awesome!
