Cold Steel large stockman today. I don't often carry this knife because I just can't warm up to the delrin scales, but I can't write it off entirely because its carbon steel blades are so beautifully sharp.

Today I've got my Case peanut in Yellar derlin and Chrome Vanadium I think jackknife is rubbing off on me.

I myself have never had a problem with the delrin scales. My 8OT is one of my favorite knives. I think you should give it a bit of rough pocket time. Also, that is a great knife. I love it.

Neither did I when this was my only slipjoint. Now that I've experienced stag and jigged bone I can't go back, they just don't compare.

I like Delrin; I think it has its place. Sometimes I won't take a bone handled knife for fear of dropping it. Delrin can handle lots of abuse.

Well that person ain't me brother as they're Rick's images. LOL! (I just massaged 'em a bit to get closer to the color of the scales.)

But since the images drew you out of the woodwork I'm gonna thank both Menefee and my lucky stars! Great to see you here, Ford. You've been missed big time!
