I stand corrected. Actually, I'm sitting, but you get the point.
I'm still trying to pick my jaw up off the ground.![]()

My medium Stockman and mini copperhead wanted to remind me that anything that I want to grow will die and weeds will surely thrive shortly thereafter.
Always love seeing that green stockman. I just so happen to have that same Wharnie mini-copperhead, too. I'm going to have to work it into my carries, it's too nice not to tote.
Hey TsarBomba, Thank you for the kind words. I used a 2x72 belt grinder with a 3M Trizact A100 belt for the regrind. Diamond plates make short work of D2, for sharpening.I have a similar Queen but it's from 1977 (IIRC) and I've gotta think there's no way it uses D2. Which probably means it'd be a little easier to regrind (and leave that nice "as-ground" finish). What'd you use for yours? Looks great! Queen's D2 is quite excellent, but I will admit some dread about the one or two I've already worked the fine edge off. Sharpening them back to usability is gonna be a bear.![]()
Thank you, my friend! Is Duncan there with you?
