What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Outstanding carries everyone

It's almost morning here! The caliber of knives posted here in the past few months has been awesome. No thanks to me but we're seeing a lot of variety beyond GEC, and some great GEC still. The vintage stuff that Jack, Primble, etc. post up is just incredible. I'm really impressed by the Boker and Rough Riders I've seen lately too.

I've been alternating my Fremonts lately..

Thanks for the compliment my friend, I really like your pics

That's a lovely Böker, Jack. May I ask the model?

Thank you Greg, the Copperhead was a gift from ScruffUK :) I'm afraid I can't recall the model number :o I'm sure somebody here will know ;)

Lovely pair

Thank you Jack.:) Nice one for you today!

Thanks Ron, your Lambsfoot is looking good my friend :)

Stellar jigging on that wonderful knife Paul, congratulations

Hope everyone has a great weekend :)

I felt like carrying some MOP today, in its purest Shadow form :) This Palo Alto still has great W&T :)

Pairing it with this old TEW Sheepsfoot for Stag Saturday :)

Great pair today Jack, and I'm repairing well thanks

I need to repost this one of Ken's;
WLST[SUP]TM[/SUP] in black camel bone.

A lovely wee WLST, not often seen either :)

I have one too today (now that I'm home again I can post :D ), here is a 251211STL with another all steel ebony although there is quite a contrast in the different shades

Paul, that is just an awesome pair you have chosen today! Both are beauties each in their own right!

I hope everyone has a great weekend! :) I am dropping some stag in my pocket today, ;)

My addiction has grown stronger. I now buy clothes based on the pockets. I like pants with larger than average watch pockets and shorts that have a zippered pocket on the side.

Autumn is coming. Sassafras leaf with my new 55.

Beautiful ebony knives, Paul, and gorgeous stag there, Ron! That Coyote looks well loved with that patina, Travman.

I'm feeling kind of green about having to go into work on this rainy Saturday morning.

I love the set Paul! Ebony and Blackwood are two of my favorites. I like their color but also their extreme density and grain tightness. To get an Ebony that light is really cool as you keep the properties of Ebony while having some variation in your collection. I have a couple of light steaks in some Ebony but nothing that uniformly light. Love the Lick Creek too, a real treat of a knife!

I hope everyone has a great weekend! :) I am dropping some stag in my pocket today, ;)

Excellent warmth to that stag, Ron! Nice straight lines to, must have been a big buck! The shine of the brass pins really sets off well among the stag colors.

That is an awesome knife! Was it an Issued knife from WWI? Every now and again you find a knife that perfectly balanced showing its age and use while still being in excellent condition. You found one of those knives!

I'm actually not sure of its age. The tang stamp says, Camillus Cutlery Co
Camillus NY
USA

Up before the sun this morning firing up the smoker for a BBQ with friends. It turns out that having a lambsfoot in your pocket is very handy when you realize that you've forgotten to remove the thin cardboard advertising wrapper from your new charcoal chimney after you've already lit the newspaper. D'oh!

Have a great and safe weekend everyone!

Getting ready to oil up the deck and cabin at 8750ft...first is the clean up and a knife is always handy.
Greg...nice lambsfoot with Horn scales, NICE!

Thanks Wurwulf, but that one is a coyote on steroids. It looks exactly like a coyote, but it is approximately twice as large.

Nice looking lambsfoot and enjoy that new Big Green Egg. My family bought me one for Father's Day. I've really enjoyed learning how to cook and smoke with it. There is a little better it of learning curve, but it does take your backyard cooking up to another level.

Thanks Travman. I've actually had the egg for years and love cooking with it. I'm glad you're enjoying yours, too! It was just a new charcoal chimney that I was dealing with this morning when I was a bit too much on autopilot. ;)

Oops. I missed this when I replied to the thread before.

Thanks for the kind compliment. A cabin in the mountains would be my ideal retreat and yours looks wonderful! Good luck with the oiling. Your Buck certainly looks up to the task of helping.

D'oh! I totally missed that you said it was a 55! My mistake. I do hope we see another run of those Hound Tooth 55s. I love my little Coyote, and I don't think a 3 1/2" in that pattern would be too big for me.
