What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

These are worth seeing a few more times. Wonderful knives. Beauty of a shot as well Gevo.:thumbup:

The girls and I went to a few antique shops today to give mom a break. Couldn't find any knives, but I picked up a couple copper coins for a $1.50 each for the girls. Adalynn calls it her money coin. Hope you all have a good one.

Sounds like a wonderful day with the girls, Brett! Thanks for the smile and the compliment. That knife is a real looker and the money coin sets it off:D

Excellent warmth to that stag, Ron! Nice straight lines to, must have been a big buck! The shine of the brass pins really sets off well among the stag colors!

Thanks my friend :)

Thanks a lot Ron, that's some great-looking stag

Thanks Jack. Hope you have had a good weekend so far! :)

A wonderful rainy Saturday morning! Headed out with my new Eureka Jack (finally got one!!!).

That is a great photo of that Rendezvous special!

That is a very nice photo of your 77 Barlow. Shows the details of the Micarta covers very well.

Ron
Pulling out the big guns...huh Sweet indeed!

Thanks :)

Oh my!!!

Golly Lambsfoot Ron! The ebony on that one is staggering.

For the 3rd day in a row, an oversized Peanut!

Thanks Tim! :) Peanut indeed, looks to be Extra Crunchy!

I'm not a big fan of stainless Steel, but since I just scored at a yardsale for .50 cents and I don't have a Victorinox I made an exception and dropped this I to my pocket today.

It's a colonial sabre brand # 842 mfk ( multi function knife )

A package from Bob was waiting for me after work yesterday. Bob, your generosity is well appreciated, thank you!
I could not resist totin' the British Army Knife today.

Nice! I might have to add the jigged bone model to go with my stag one. Looks like you have a guard dog to protect it. My dogs would hide it and I would never see it again.
Lots of folks here on the porch have shown a desire to acquire a #33 Conductor and since I've gotten mine, I can see why. Another beauty ~ P.

Thanks, guys (and to the others who responded as well-- dang, this thread flies by)!

The #33 has such a refined look, whether in the Conductor or Whittler configuration....

It may not be rare, old, or fancy, but it makes me happy. Picked this one up today.

Thx, and-- what a beauty, yours!

Whenever I think of this pattern, I return to Sonneman's #33 and how thoroughly his use and affection belie notions of the refined #33's being delicate:

Up until last week, I resisted adding a Conductor, what with my #33 Whittler being so very fine (it is!) and with a White Owl that ticks many of the same boxes (single spring, similar length, bail). One has to draw lines somewhere. So I've read.

Adding an actual dog to my life has changed my perspective in so many ways(!).

I'm thrilled to now have this little knife and its instant evocation of my little companion and the goodness she brings to my days. :)

Nice carries the last two days Kris.
Some might be interested that Harvey Dean was recently inducted into the American Bladesmith Society Hall of Fame. These inductions only happen every four years.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Chris

Kris, that WT is gorgeous! I love that Damascus pattern. Beautiful picture!

Today, I'm sure, will include a beer or two. So, I better be prepared for them. Woke up early today to dye this Amber bone Mini Trapper Cap Lifter from Case. I'm pretty happy with the results.
