What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Morning Jack, have fun in Minster town mate ! :)

Thanks mate, it chucked it down, but I got to look round a couple of antique shops :)

Spectacular stag Paul

Jack , Thanks, I wish this old TL could tell stories.

Absolutely :) I love the character of old work and army knives :)

Pretty cool when you can tell everyone where you are going with a tang stamp, Jack!!!:)

Thanks Dean, I managed to get some pics of the building where the knife was made - even the drainpipes were dated 1735! :D Hoping to show it in a table thread if I can ever get the pics uploaded  Looks like you had your pockets full my friend :)

Thanks Dan, hope you had a good walk, I like your companions

I'm carrying this Keen Kutter Peanut and Arthur Wright work-back Lambsfoot today. Have a great Sunday everyone

That looks good too Travman. It looks as though someone may have refinished the wood as most of them came from the factory with the lighter coloring and no shine to it.

Actually, the more I look at it, yours appears to be cocobolo.
Thanks Bob. I hadn't considered that. I'll go with that theory until someone says otherwise.

Two fine knives with me today, and THE finest knife book I have ever had the pleasure. Have a great Sunday folks,
