Looks like I've fallen back into my long-winded, time-consuming ways.
Come on, what's an order of magnitude among friends?
I really like that first folder of yours. How cool that you still have it!
Finally got around to sharpening this one last night. Looking forward to slipping it in my watch pocket for the first time today.

Thank you GT - the Colonial has some nice character - my pick of your carries.

Thanks GT, and thanks for thinking of my Abbeydale

That is a classic old Otter you have there, and it is fantastic you still have your first knife, a nice one too

Thanks, Greg, Primble, and Jack. I've been using that old scout a lot lately; pretty beat up, but still cuts well. I like that Remington half-congress, Greg!
So no sun just rain here in not so sunny California. Hence the recycled pic of Rosie.
Recycled, but ravishing, FBC!

More Market Magic!!
Happy Saturday morning! Just came from a neighbors garage sale, found this Imperial... It's a good day!

...
I went back across the street to the garage sale and spoke with the brother, who said there were a tub of knives in the house. We spoke for a while as we looked at the knives, and I left with this one. Stag Stockman Case. It has "Razor Edge" on the main blade, 4 dots, 5347 HP SSP on the flip side. I'm trying to look up the year made, but not figuring it out yet. Any ideas? $40, in great shape. I love the stag on the presentation side.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

...
Mitch, congrats on your garage sale scores!! I like old Imperials, and equal-end patterns. That Case stag stockman is stupendous!!

This guy today:
For the last few days, and probably the next few too
It's football time in Tennessee!

Wish me luck!
Today I have these 2, similar, yet very different knives in hand. IMO they are both most excellent!!!
Speaking of liking equal-end patterns, that new Forum knife is a phenomenal example! Congrats, Mitch, Mike, and Ron (and everyone else who picked up the 2016 BF knife)!

Today's carry
...
I'm not sure how or when it happened, but this one has grabbed a place in my pocket and heart almost everyday.
U definitely XL with that old Wostenholm Barlow, Dean. And it's always enjoyable to see your Trusted Companion!
My wife gave me a Case Wharncliffe mini copperlock this morning. So of course that is what I am carrying today. I'd not realized this is a single spring design. Very elegant.
That's a great-looking mini copperhead, Frank! Your wife just gave you that on a Saturday morning for no reason???

I've been absent this week. Lots of work from Hurricane Matthew.
I lost one of my homes, however, I'm looking forward to building something new.
I changed up my weekly knife a little late this week. Spent a week and a half with my SFO #77 Red Jigged Bone and it brought a smile to my face everyday. This week, I'm going with the SFO #77 Micarta. Its covers remind me of old linen dollies that have been forgotten. Something very unique for a cover, IMO. Secondly, I've made the Blade Forums Knife my house knife. I absolutely love it after breaking it in, but like others, it was a little tough to get going.
...
Glad you're OK, HST, even if you lost a house; that's gotta be devastating!

Couple of sweet knives seem like small compensation.
Canoe today
Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!
