What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Being that I woke up with my pants still on this morning, I'm still carrying my #99 from yesterday:)

Must have been a great party!

I guess it was:confused: At my age, it doesn't take much anymore to put me to bed with my clothes on.

Couldn't have been that great, you know it was a great party when you can't find your pants ;)

Lol, all good there guys, first laugh of the year. My party days are long gone. My 23 yr old son carries the torch, he came in at 6:00am. Needless to say he's missing football at the moment, he's sleeping quite soundly:D

They get over that too Paul. My 30+ year olds were each at their respective homes last night.

Nice TC Barlow. Thanks

So what is the story with the Pony Cut TC's? Why did they make some different from the Peachseed versions? Were these released separately? Whatever the story, it is a beautiful example.

Happy New Years everyone.

I just got this Case humpback stockman a few days ago, and already had to modify it. I turned the spey into a pen clip, and lowered the kick on the sheepfoot to bring it's spine lower and more in line with the spine of the spear main. Nice knife!

Happy New Year everyone!

Today it's the EDC Ohta whittler (shocking, I know) and an Executive whittler to keep it company :)

Just noticed, you can see the lamination line on the Ohta main blade really well in that pic :D

This morning for church (gotta start the year off right, right?) was my ivory Davison knife that was made to commemorate my wedding

After church, my current favored went back in. This wonder case/Bose cattle knife that was an unexpected gift. Thing is nearly perfect! Even though the pic is recycled, I'm still in that same position. Back is feeling a lot better though. Amazing what the right drugs and rest can do lol

Great knives, as usual, everybody!

Thanks for the comments Jack, GuestWho101 and Gary. Good call on the Sheepsfoot blade on the Vic Apprentice Gary and it has been a good busy. Thanks for asking.

Great looking knives Chip and very nice Mason bonzodog.

Today I carried these two. A TC Barlow and a Vic Spartan.

Have a good one!

That Davison is sure nice! Of course so is the case/Bose. I have that in jigged bone.

Ken Nice wood duo, the SAK looks anything but spartan in those wood scales though!:D

Very nice. They also make a brown bone (though they might have called it Amber) w' the flat & faceted bolsters. Why they have yet to make more w' those bolsters is beyond me as I think they're the nicest of all 73s. The single blade ones w' those bolsters are super thin.

Thanks Big and also John for your words & info. The bone is very attractive and this type of 73 is lighter, no bad thing as the 73 is a fairly weighty knife in the pocket, another reason I've always steered clear of the 2 blade variants. One clue why they did not continue with this facet bolster and bone MIGHT have to do with weakness. The first one I got, No.2 developed a centre pin crack almost immediately despite not being dropped or banged down. The dealer replaced it immediately for me (I'm in Europe so that impressed me) but it could be a stress fracture, the centre-pin being the most prone to this. But, I could be wrong, maybe they're just too complex&costly to make?:)

Both beautiful knives no doubt but that case/Bose really speaks to me.

That ivory Davison is gorgeous, definitely drool worthy.
