This old Boker is one of my very special knives, gifted to me a couple of years back by Paul H, it has a great story behind it, and is just a lovely knife in my opinion.

Pulled out the grand portage to carry today. The bolster patina is coming along nicely.

Very nice Cannonball! I am pleased to see another Grand Portage displayed on this thread. I recently purchased my second one and am carrying it today, it has old growth oak covers. Too new for patina.

I think I owned that primitive 66 at one time .Pretty sure ive seen it passed around a few times on this forum as well. Reminds me of stories told where men would gather around the town square and whittler . They would trade stories and knives . Sometimes your knife would find its way back to you .

Carrying a locking Laguiole from Fontanille-Pataud and a RR Mini Copperhead today as I'm on a trip to another city. People are friendly, but otherwise it sux, no place like home in my book..
