What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I know the feeling. "let's see, Can we make a deal on this whole tray" ? :D

I'll have to get me one of those glowing Buffalo horns. I like the bigger size? Aren't they like 6cm to 8cm?

Sorry Alan, this got missed when I posted before  They seem to have a fair bit of the reddish buffalo at the Wright's factory, it has some great character :) They're a little over 10cm (4"), with a 7 1/2 cm blade (measured from the choil to the tip). Just under 3". I know I've let the cat out of the bag here, but I'll try and post more pics and info in the Lambsfoot thread, and re-vamp the Arthur Wright photo thread  Hey, the thumbs are back!   :)

Greeting,

I have been enjoying this site for quite sometime, figured I would jump in and share my rotations. Seems like a great bunch here. I'm particularly fond of traditional knives.

Kind regards,

Welcome to the porch Mike, there's some really great folks here, some beautiful knives, lots of knowledge and just good, down home conversations. Pull up a rocker and sit awhile. :)

This light weight set up for physical therapy today, have a great day folks. ;)

Interesting Jack; I wonder if they got a batch of horn that was reddish?

I reckon they must have :) I picked up some knives for Charlie a few weeks back, and noticed there was a reddish tinge to the buffalo on a couple of them. I think it looks pretty good, I've not really seen buffalo horn like that before. Generally, I've gone for wood, stag, or bone before, but after picking up the smaller Lambsfoot in buffalo last year, I'm a convert :)

post you dumb pic! I'm old. I'm just going to try to fix this post - most likely - for awhile.

Why can't I get a pic to post?

Today I am pocketing a #14 Lick Creek with ebony covers and have just ordered a #35 Harness Jack #10 that had been ordered in and has been sitting in a dealers inventory ever since so the chance to get a hold of a piece of Charlie Campagnas brilliance was to much to pass up. I apologise for being off line for some time but a nagging ache became more of a constant pain, so I finally elected to have surgery to put it right and it knocked me sideways but I am on the mend .
