It was a big ole bee, but I guess the cold got him last night. There was a pair of them on the onion flower (s). I see them a lot but don't know the common or scientific names of them. I should ...maybe someone knows...I will look it up later. That is a super Case Whittler...wow..the bone is awesome. What is the # and yr ? That's a big ole bee...you win...lol
It's a Bumblebee not a honey bee or worse ( now in Texas ) Africanized honey beeIt was a big ole bee, but I guess the cold got him last night.I hope he wasn't a honey bee, because I think they are looking to move into the porch fascia.
The Whittler was a gift from my friend Legion, it's a 6308, and if I'm reading the stamp right, it's from the mid 1980s. Very solid walk&talk.![]()

Nice looking pairWhetstones posts finally made me succumb and get a city knife. (MT Damascus, you need to stop posting such fine knives else you will cost me much money lol)
Used it to make me some pan fried potatoes today. I like this thing. Have my cattle knife with me also. Waiting on a pocono sheath for it. The stock one is quite a bit bulkier than required for such a small, isefil blade. And it slices better than it's thickness would suggest.
