Another mysterious horn example Jack. Have we seen that one before?
Into the Garden
Whetstones posts finally made me succumb and get a city knife. (MT Damascus, you need to stop posting such fine knives else you will cost me much money lol)
Used it to make me some pan fried potatoes today. I like this thing. Have my cattle knife with me also. Waiting on a pocono sheath for it. The stock one is quite a bit bulkier than required for such a small, isefil blade. And it slices better than it's thickness would suggest.

Thanks, Jack! I get a lot of comments on my notebook with that logo on it.
Gorgeous, Bob! You have such a talent for knife photography! Excellent knife!
Good looking Lanny's clip, Dee!
Holy songfest, Batman! Thanks, Dee!
That Colonel Coon Barlow is a treasure, Paul!
I so wish! Thank you for the comment.
Thanks, Gary!
Lovely knife, Gev. And beautiful garden photos!
I went on a very long hike today. Towards the end I took this photo of my ebony Boy's Knife.

Nice SVT! I have come close to pulling the trigger on that knife many times, greatly looking forward to your impressions of it. I agree regarding the vertical sheaths, and have found that for me they carry much better in a pocket sheath for my typical day.
That is a honeycomb pattern r8shell, they call it "Blue C-Tek", but I have not handled one in person. I would love to know if it is textured.
For me today:

r8shell , it is a smooth material. No texture other than kinda neat looking to the eyes.
