What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I'm going to try to relax today.
Hope you get to relax r8shell. I'm trying to do the same thing, although the outdoor chores keep calling me! It's on it's way to 90 degrees here. Me and 90 don't get on well.

Thanks. My friends hardly roll their eyes at me anymore when I take knife pics in restaurants. It's not like I'm taking duck-lipped selfies at scenic views. That would be silly. :D
OK! I had to laugh at the "duck-lipped selfie" mental image! That's hilarious!

Wonderful grain right there Jamie:thumbsup:

Also nice postings everyone:cool:

An old CLAUSS (made by CASE) EZ Open jack for me today...

According to my iPad, it's 93 in Arlington today. I'm not going outside to confirm that. Stay in and oil my joints:)

I am hoping for a game 7 as well! By the way game 6 is on Sunday night if I am not mistaken!;)
Imagine my surprise when I sat down with a beer to watch last night. The mind isn't what it used to be....

Thanks my friend, a Speaker Jack courtesy of Alan Shearer. and that would be the 4th Century Roman Multiangular Tower ;)
Ah yes, two blades on one side. You live in a beautiful neck of the woods BTW.

I been busy and away from forum a few days. Some wonderful knives.

Picked more peppers and seeded/veined them today. Used my Christmas 81 (I refuse to call it Mardi Gras). Ain't used it in awhile.

Those are some colorful covers. Perfect knife for that job!

Nice carries today folks! Have fun in Sheffield, Jack!

A change up for Sunday. Ken Erickson 3 1/4" Swayback Gent and a little 5 5/8" OAL spear point from Don Cowles.

Beautiful pair Gary. I must look Mr. Cowles up.

Tom, at first I was confused by your runabout comment , but then I realized you were referring to the wooden boat in the pic of my Case SBJr. That's not my boat; it belongs to the owners of the lakefront cottages where we vacation each summer for a week or two. I often take some knife photos on their dock, and that boat happened to be in the background. (We DO own a red plastic sea kayak! ;))
Sorry about the confusion GT. That's a sharp toothpick.

Food and a knife. What's to wonder about?:D

My carry today is posted up a bit. The Copperlock is a fine one for light garden work.

Interesting-looking book, and a smashing combo

Thanks Jack! All I really learned from the book is to stay away from bears :D

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend. I'm off to Sheffield again today. Have a great Sunday everyone

Stan Shaw Sheepsfoot and a TEW Sleeveboard

Outstanding combo today sir

Experimenting with a home-made light tent today.

Great photo of a super knife :cool:

Thanks Gev! She is one I've wanted for quite some time.

Dan that is a fantastic photo my friend! Your Hawthorne is one that is the most desirable to me because of the bare end configuration. IMHO, the way this pattern should be!!!:)

I spent 5 hours at work this morning and I had a pocket full of Micarta with me. The blade tip on this #54 was proud in the closed position by a few thousands. Just enough to be able to pick with my fingernail. This is minor but once I discovered it I found it was like a magnet any time I was Totin this knife. This morning at work I remedied this in about 15 seconds with a Swiss File! This knife is one that will definitely see a lot of pocket time! Hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend! :D

I couldn't agree with you more Ron. Love the bare end cap! When I saw the original batch of Hawthornes years ago I knew I needed one.
Beauty micarta on that #54 ;) and enjoy your weekend too!

Great photo, Dantone! What a vista!!:cool:

On kitchen duty for me this week are a Buck toothpick, a JJ Martinez sodbuster, and a Taylor Schrade muskrat (thanks, Randy):
